There seems to be a lot of smoke concerning Shaun Alexander and the Houston Texans on NFL Radio and other spots.
With the Seahawks signing Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett, the Seahawks have a crowded backfield and they look to drop Alexander and his contract.
Pat Kirwin indicated that Houston might be a likely spot for him either vie trade or picking him up after his outright release. The other possible spots for him to land are Chicago and Detroit.
Most seem to think the Texans might be the most likely because of the climate as well as the one cut slashing system employed by Kubes.
I think it'd be a good thing for us to see if there is anything left in the tank as long as it doesn't cost us big $$ unless he produces. A deal that is heavy in incentives that can be reached would be nice.
