Congrats Ron Dayne

random thought, but I wonder if there are any Wisconsin fans who are such big fans of Ron Dayne, that they have followed him here now and are huge fans of the Texans...like that guy in tennessee has fans.

just wondering...

Do you mean a ROF (Ron only Fan)?

I wonder... I think a lot of Tennessee fans have followed that other guy..I think #18- the name escapes me. He's a QB right?

I don't care much for his running style, but he was a total beast in Wisconsin. Congrats, Ron.

Oh I read it wrong. I was thinking about that college QB from TU. I guess there is another QB from UT that now plays in Tenn, I think he wears #10...but again that name seems to escape me too!
I think you're getting mixed up here... the only QB from UT I can recall is Peyton.

Sometimes it's hard to separate college from pro when it comes to evaluating a player, but there is no doubt that Dayne was a great, great college RB. I am not a big fan of his game in the pros, but I give the man full props for his college career. I kind of liken him to Andre Ware in that regard. You still have to be pretty darn good to have a college career of the caliber.

Congrats to Dayne, but when they interviewed him, didn't it sound like he had a mouth full of pancakes or something?

Mmmmm...pancakes.

The Wisconsin State Journal has a very nice article about Dayne and how he saved football there. link

Even if he hasn't set the NFL world on fire, you can't take away what he accomplished in college. I just wish he would have that same kind of career with the Texans.
