MNF: GB @ Denver

Maybe Kubiak is watching for a refresher course on the old ZB scheme he learned in Denver and planned on running here at one time ?

Cutler looking good.
How does he make to what, the 11th pick before the Broncos take him last year ? Many say he was the top QB in last years Draft ?

What did Cutler do?.....sorry, but I can't watch MNF as long as Tony Kornhole is on the air, that guy makes me want to scratch my eyeballs out and jam pencils into my ears.

Dang, how can Lynch still be in the NFL ? He's a DB who's 36 years old,
who probably had minimul footspeed when he came in the league. At his age,
he must be a real liability to his team in any kind of coverage ?

Kinda refreshing that they have Farve's wife on the MNF set instead of just another irrelavant, pretentious Hollywood celeb.

anyone else find it ironic that both offences that ours is based on are playing like crap in the redzone

it would be even more refreshing if they felt the game itself is entertaining enough on its own instead of calling the game half-assed because they're too bust asking a guest some lame question

I think it has something to do with, when he does bite on the play action, he's so slow that he doesn't get out of position, and opposing QBs are just not used to that.

Good thing we combined the best of both schemes ... wait a sec :drunk: crap, I accidently brought the wrong one to Kubiak!

Favre....what else needs to be said?
Doesn't look like a guy who wants to retire, does he?

Nor does he look like a guy who NEEDS to retire.

So many times you see a player get in the twilight of his career and the physical skills erode quickly. I can think of Marino at the end when there was just no zip left on the ball. Or Jerry Rice unable to get any separation from the nickel DB's sent to cover him (or unable to make the squad as a WR4 or 5 at Denver).

But Favre still seems to be playing at a high level and looks like there is more than enough life in his legs and arm to keep him playing for a couple more years.

mnf was buried deep within darkest crevice of favre's jock last night. i think i have diabetes.

but that scud he opened up the OT with... definitely one of the more memorable mnf finishes in my limited memory.

Not sure if this has already been said but watching the game did anyone notice that there were more Green Bay fans there than Denver fans? I'd be a little disheartened by this if I were a Broncos fan.
