Marino was asked who will win the TB vs Panthers game and Marino said, "TB, anyone will win against a qb wearing white gloves, what's up with the white gloves, I don't understand. . . He's not even playing outdoors, come on David Carr, you don't need the white gloves, maybe he just got a manicure or something!"

That was funny, I even showed my wife, who was a big DC fan, and she laughed her A** off! :splits:
 
Anybody else think that Carr might be a little mentally "Odd"? The glove thing is so he doesn't directly touch the guys butt (don't do that anyway???) with his hands. That sounds more than a little like obsesive-compulsive disorder. Those types tend to get stuck in doing the same thing over and over (focus on dirt/diesease etc.) and have a hard time making decisions that change things out side of the routen. Sort of has a ring to it doesn't it.

FWIW, Marino is wrong. This weak Carolina is featuring Carr with black gloves :)

And omg he looks bad, he's as horrible as he were here. Carr is the weakest link, bye...

He has positive yards. That is an improvement.

Yeah, I'm starting to get the impression that there's something a little "off" about my boy David. The gloves thing just rings of Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets.

Well, I guess Panthers fans are going to stop clamoring for him now. The media kind of turned on him when they noticed 1) he doesn't look any different behind a Panthers line than he did behind a Texans line and 2) Matt Schaub doesn't get sacked every other play when playing behind the exact same o-line.

I think the jig is up.
 
Wow...Carr sucks. I normally would find his performance funny but I feel bad for him sort of.

Think about if we had kept him for another year...what a nightmare.
