TU's Rain Dance

I caught a hint of sarcasm in you post.

Its not that they listen to rap music, although they are thugs. Its the fact that they were doing this before kickoff.

You see they almost got beat by UCF, I think they might not have had there head in the game.

Just my opinion

We already know what kind of players Mack is recruiting these days. But in this video it appears he has completely lost control of his team.

Way to go Mack

Dont mean to start anything with the Horn fans but it is what it is.
Right.

That much is clear.

The really funny thing is that the UCF football team was dancing to the same song on their sideline during the rain delay. But I'm sure that a non-biased Aggy fan like yourself will have harsh words for them to.

Yes they barely beat UCF, who holds a road victory over an ACC team, NC State. They were opening up their new stadium to a top program & there was a fierce atmosphere at the game.

A&M went to 3 OTs with Fresno State (playing with the mightiest of home field advantages, the dreaded 12th man) who boasts a quality win over Sacramento State & a 31-point loss to Oregon.

Of course I would. But the thing is I dont have a you tube video to back your statements of UCF dancing, so no can do on the UCF harsh words.

Easy buddy, I never said anything about how good the Aggies are, although they are much better now than when I was there.

We will see how good we are come Thusday in Miami.

But of course.

Who would want to videotape their home team representin such thuggish behavior during a rain delay, when the team should in fact, have their "heads in the game"

I hope you arent accusing me of being racist, because that I am not. But when a team has 6 arrest since July they just might have some thugs on there team.
Oh, just some thugs.

The beginning of the thread seemed as though you were labeling all Longhorns players as thugs.

umm... here is the video of the UCF team http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWwImTCWwbs&NR=1

Really, just good fun after a rain delay. I thought the Longhorns did a much better job of dancing. I'm an Aggie by the way. Most of this thread is pointless.
Here is the you tube video evidence that you were looking for.

Well sometimes Mack Brown can look more like a politician than a football coach.
I could not agree with you more, the guy can recruit better than anyone in the country.

But he needs to get control of his team.

Nice job finding the UCF video, Man... UCF coaches need to get control of their players during a big game.

As a UT fan and as someone applying this spring it kind of disturbs me to see this chain of events unfold. You can recruit with good intentions but in the end they're young men and they are entitled to make their own decisions and mistakes. I don't think it's entirely fair to put ALL the UT program and Mack Brown for their decisions.

It was like recent actions at UM. If you had seen the press conference or any of Larry Coker you'd see what a class act human being he is and I hope he gets another shot at being a head coach. For every bad reflection it's sad that there is another guy on the team doing some great things outside the locker room as well that isn't getting the positive side of what the program is doing.

Not to start anything equally CL but aggies need to equally hesitant on pointing fingers for off the field incidents. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest but it's way easier to cover things up in a small town like College Station then a major metro area like Austin. Living here in B/CS i've heard my fair share of Aggies doing things they shouldn't.

It happens everywhere, but come on 6 arrest.

I heard things when I was in school, but nothing like what some of these guys have been arrested for.

It is Mack Browns job to control his team, when a parent sends their kid to school they want to make sure that someone will be looking after him aka Mack.

No matter how you look at it, it will always fall back on the coach.

No i agree. But again like i said there is only so much any coach can do. It's not like me or anyone associated is asking much like the Bungals in the NFL...jeeze just don't do anything that's gonna get you arrested.

On a side note I had a really entertaining and informative speaker tonight who worked on the site Pointe Du Hoc in France where Earl Rudder and his company did some pretty amazing stuff on D-Day. I'm no aggie fan by any stretch but what him and his company did.....well that is stuff legends are made of.

There are a lot of great aggies that were in the core now serving in Iraq.

I love how Ags forget that they had very similar stretch of issues/arrests about 2 years age (Fran's first year I beleive). Poor aggies all of thire identity is tied up in UT's ups and downs, not their own.

Atleast UT managed to win when they were playing "questionable" talent

Talk to me tomorrow when Miami destroys you tonight in front of a National TV audience...what is pathetic is A&M can't get a National TV game unless its against Texas or on a weekday. Just a pathetic program with pathetic fans.

The University of Texas football program is going through a rough patch with some behavior problems by the players, but that will happen when you recruit the best players in the country. those players tend to be spoiled and can feel they are above the law/rules. Mack needs to do a better job showing them that this is not the case. It's also part and parcel of having players live in a real city not some college town. In a college town, police can look the other way a lot easier but in a town of over a million people like Austin, you just can't do that if you are the Austin Police Department or the county sheriff's patrol.

What I think is funny is how Aggie fan can't talk anything about their own program because it is such an embarassment....so they resort to pointing out flaws in other programs to somehow deflect attention from the total suckitude of their own.

as for racism, College Station is about as racist a college campus as there is. The only african-americans on that campus are athletes. no self respecting minority would go to the nexus of Texas racism.

I forgot how there are so many new Texas alums since they won the National Championship.

Calm down there Second Honeymoon, it is a rivalry. I know there are plenty of Longhorns on this board that would take an aggie story and run with it. I respect Texas and to be honest with you I am very jealous of what Mack has been able to accomplish there. But he is loosing control of his program.

As for the rascism comment, well since this thread started that term has been tossed around and it is very irresponsible.

I went to A&M for four years and while I was there, there were many african american students that were not athletes. As a matter of fact I lived with on my sophmore year named Donald he was going to Mechanical Engineer.

You said self no respecting minority would go there, buddy you have NO idea how many asians go to school there.

The UT Football Program has little bit of an issue with some of their players getting arrested.

However, if you look at how Mack Brown has handled these kids, the ones arrested, you can see that this behavior is not tolerated.

Some are out of the program, while others served suspensions over important games.

If these situations persist, look for Mack Brown to really lower the boom on some of these kids where they are kicked out of the program regardless of incident. Look for some NFL Commissioner Goodell penalties from Mack Brown if it persists.

The University, Football Program, and the Fans, will be behind it because they don't like to see this crap anyway.

People are making more out of this than what it is because it will be taken care of accordingly in due time if it persists.

So to all you Aggies, just relax and do whatever is you do in the days between playing Texas on or around Thanksgiving Day.

I think if it continues he wont have a choice but to "lower the boom"

Watch out Hollywood we might make it two in a row this year.

Just ignore him. He doesn't even read the thread before he posts. He has one post for every A&M or TU thread he finds, and just changes the wording up a little bit.

I have met many minorities here. They are good people. I am not a racist and I must say that I rarely see anything that is racist on this campus. The people who point fingers at us are those who have an agenda.

Anyways...

I sometimes wonder if you're being sarcastic. If you are, you're hilarious. Otherwise....

All I have to say about the racism subject is that a bunch of people from my school were met with "Howdy N****rs!" as they walked through the A&M campus.

Of course not. I go to a very diverse school (less than ten percent white) and I hear nothing good about A&M's student body. Except, of course, from white people and Asian people.

That never happened, there are a lot of black people that go to school there. Whatever story you were told Im sure was completely made up to degrade the school. College Station is a regular college town its not like Jasper or Vidor.
