Football withdrawl already

MightyTExan

It's go time!
Sundays and Monday nights are empty.
NFL network isn't satisfyng the need.
Nothing beats live gameday.
What to do? :drunk:

I hate the feeling. Until baseball season starts, sports is kind of bland. March Madness is nice, but I'm not the biggest college basketball fan in the world.

I guess that means you just missed one of the best Daytona 500's ever.

The Stars won. Phil Mickelson let one get away today.

Uh.....Houston Rockets, the best sports team in Houston out of the big 3, Yao is fixing to be back, playoffs are right around the corner, exciting times.

That, ladies and gents, is why I took up soccer. The Rockets aren't doing too bad.

Is it just me, or is anyone else less attatched to the team this year than before? Maybe I'm not as used to Kubiak as I was to Capers?

Nascar would be alot more exciting if they decided pole position by whoever can down a six pack the fastest and jumps in their car first. :drunk:

That would be a crazy sport.....alot more exciting.

You know whats funny, people say soccer is boring but yet watching cars go around in circles is exciting...

If you think that is all there is to it you know nothing about the sport. I could go out of my way and post "snore" about soccer like MT did, but I know there is something to the sport I (gladly) don't get.

I find certain sports boring, as well, but I do my best to leave others to their gig. Soccer looks like a bunch of actor wannabe's running up and down the field to me, I'm not interested enough to see what really goes on in the sport so I don't comment and move on. You see a sport, cool, enjoy.

Sorry, it's just a pet peeve of mine to see a sport being ridiculed by people just because they don't get it.

Peace.

Thank you. Reminds me of the "chasing the little white ball" ridicule by people who don't 'get' golf.

I get it, I just think its too simple and the engineers and drivers should be more challenged.

I liked it.......I liked the competitions Sat. night too. :doot:

I like the Saturday night competitions as well, also like the Rookie-Sophmore game, but for some reason the Sunday game does nothing for me. It maybe the a lot of my favorite players who played in the All-Star game were big men, and with all of the ball-hogging and show boating, most big men don't get the ball like they do on their teams.

Rockets, then draft, then more Rockets in the playoffs. After that. there is a two month layoff (baseball bores me) until training camp.

I'm actually doing pretty good right now....we're in the middle of basketball season, March Madness is coming up, and Spring Training starts pretty soon.....I'll probably be going through my football withdrawl sometime in the summer after the Finals.....

You can visit your local library or dairy farm. Volunteer work is always a great way to spend your discretionary time.

The Rockets are under the radar and could make serious noise in the playoffs definately something to watch.

Oh yeah and Kevin Durant in March Madness this guy could single handedly bring a national title to Texas i cant wait.

yep, I agree.

Nice tries from everyone, but nothing touches pro football in my book. Everything is just treading water until the only sport that matters comes back in season.

I don't belittle anyone else's sport(s), but the reality for me is that none of them even come close to the NFL.

Time to catch up on life until August rolls around. :bubble:
