Being from wisconsin i get to hear about the Packers on a day-to-day bases...well now that Favre is coming back they will do whats necessary for him to get deep into the playoffs.....they NEED A NEW RUNNINGBACK....but contrary to what some think...they are a lot like the Texans front ofice....they will dont like to pick guys with problems on or off the field....granted they did get koren robinson....they have 10 million less than what the cap rom says cuz they will pay favre that amout......i think we can sawp 1st rounders maybe a little extra....that way they get ap and we fall back to get someone else plus maybe ahmen green who they would give up....or maybe a 4 or 5....thoguhts?
 
They come at us with a pair of twoes a three and a swap in positions, I'd pass up Levi Brown for the fairy butted Staley. Cross my fingers and prey, every night, that Spencer makes it back sometime in '07. An extra Second pick in the '08 draft would be gold to this franchise. Move up ammo to get anything Smith and Kubs wanted..QB, RB, Olt., DE's...corners. Yes I would make that move. Fill two major holes this draft three next draft, that would be enough to put us in the room with the Colts in '08. Still say Brown fixes the major hole this year. Get the o-line going all things are possible.
 
If the goal is to get to the Play-offs, I don't think they'd hook that wagon to a rookie RB who has proven nada so far......... as great a prospect as AP may be, I don't see them getting rid of Ahman Green to do that deal........

We might get Vernand back.....

If they try to move up, it will be to get someone like Gaines Adams..... Calvin Johnson.... or something of that flavor....... #8 will be too low.

That's if the move is to get a "final piece" for a play-off run.

Green is a Free Agent so they can't trade him. #16 to #8, the value falls nicely with a added 2nd RD pick. I see this trade as doubtful. At #16 the Packers look to be sitting pretty for Marshawn Lynch.
 
our number one for their number one plus qb aaron rogers.....they do not like him in wisconsin...so they may trade him away...thoughts???
 
what rogersis their backup....he has been then for sometime now and they dont even like him...so they would most likely tradew him away...

If AP is available at #8 then we have to take him no matter what. We need him more then GB. Just in case if AP is drafted before us even then it would be advisable to draft Anderson, Branch or Okoye for our DL.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of Aaron Rodgers coming to Houston! But, I do not want to part ways with our #8 pick and the chance to grab Okoye.
