Glenn Earl #2 on Jacked-up

this is good, at least the texans get some tv time, i wouldnt of been suprised if they didnt put it on jacked up, but glad he did, nice hit glenn

Yeah, I told my buddies that hit would make Jacked Up when it happened.

Mr. Shockey, meet Mr. Earl... um, here's a pen, write it down. I'm not sure you'll remember otherwise, cause you got JACKED UP!!!

Glen Earl can hit and that was a good example that guy looked like he wanted to cry after the hit LOL :redtowel:

"that guy", lol, never heard of Jeremy Shockey? But definatley a great hit, saved a TD.

I was waiting to see #1 jacked up up but I could have sworn they never showed it. Happend to me last week too, #1 at halftime and I never see it. WTF is that anyway, just show the top 5 at once, don't show 4 then wait till halftime for 1.

Ha, trying to get you to watch the whole game.

Glad to see the Texans making the Jacked Up list as the ones giving the hit as opposed to taking it. The last two times a Texan made the Jacked Up list this season was the hit by Roy Williams on Walter during the Dallas game, and then the other was Carr getting hit after releasing the ball by one of the Jags rookie LBs.

Earl's hit was better because it caused an incomplete pass. Parker held onto the ball.

It not only forced an incomplete pass but it denied them a TD. Glenn Earl is a monster when he gets near the ball.... the only problem is that he rarely does, haha.

The Roy Williams hit, I thought was on Jameel Cook trying to clear a hole for RonDayne.

The other was on Lundy trying to catch the hook & Ladder from Andre at the end of the Tennessee game.

The Roy Williams hit was on Walter. It was on a pass that was batted up into the air, and Walters was looking around trying to locate it when he got laid out by Roy Williams.

I don't recall seeing one from the Titans game making it on Jacked Up, but then again I don't watch it every Monday night. The last one I recall seeing was the hit on Carr by one of the Jags rookie LBs. I didn't think it really qualified since Carr's definately been hit harder, but I guess they just didn't have as many candidates that week.

That was a great (and very timely) hit and a well deserved Jacked Up award winner. There are few things more enjoyable in the NFL than watching Shockey get lit like that.

I give all the credit in the world to Shockey after taking a hit like that and then coming back to score a TD. That was a gamer. If Earl can just get a reputation of hitting like that every game we'd be set. Did anyone see how sheepish he looked after that hit. He should have used that to fire up the defense, instead I see him just looking around taking congrats from his teammates. He should have been in every one of his teammates faces telling them that that is the way this defense plays and that they should do the same.

Earl looks like LB playing SS at times

In the way he hits and the way he covers on the flip side at times

But if C.C. Brown hadn't interfered, Earl would have had the INT count against Payton in the Red Zone

anyone got a clip...i missed the hit...was only able to watch a section of the 4th QTR

i found it on youtube but it doesn't work...anyone have it

for anyone who missed it, it was on CBS' Quarter Pounder of the Week...

Shockey get his ass handed to him = #1
