Just a little random fact that I am sure everyone has thought of already. The fact is, I see us extending this to 3-0 this next week. I believe Mario will continue to play with increased intensity.

:redtowel: :fireball: :bowser:

I think it has more to do wit us playin more as a unit and playing for 4 quaters and not 1 quarter, but it's a great fact to throw out there..

Tennessee has a struggling offensive line and a young QB.. i could defintely see him getting another 1 or mayber even 2 in this game.

I think it would be cool if all the wins this season involved a sack by Mario. Even if they are because the opposing QB loses his footing.... :thud:

a sack is a sack is a sack. Even if the QB tripped over the referee in the endzone (ala Roy Williams against the Giants) it would still count as a sack

Oh, I couldnt agree more. Someone has to be credited with bringing him down. I am by no means trying to take away from Mario's achievements. He was in the backfield quite often in the Dolphins game and a little bit in the Jags game as well.

Huh?? Wasn't that on a pass play ?? I must have missed that play....

Huh? We are 2-0 when the QB has a seizure and falls down and Mario is the first to touch him? I didn't know that.

I didn't see this sack(Jaguars game), but I watched the game...Can someone break it down for me. Tell me what move Mario used, what happened to the QB...whos fault it was?...some stuff like that...If someone has a video of it that would be nice too.

lol, Mario used the patanted "wait for the center to step on the Qb's leg, causing him to fall into the splits in the most awkward fashion possible, then tag him while he is on the ground", it really was beautiful.

Leftwich did the splits right in the middle of the backfield and Mario was the first one to touch him. Plain and simple.

The Texans are 2-0 when they hold the other team to 25% on 3rd down conversions.

Oh, and they're 2-0 when they outscore the other team as well.

a sack is a sack is a sack.

Statistically speaking, yes.

To borrow a George Orwell reference: all sacks are equal, but some sacks are more equal than others.

Mario still has yet to get that blindside solo sack that the QB never saw coming. Hopefully, Vince Young will be his first this weekend.

The Texans are also 1-0 when Mario deflects a 2 point conversion at the end of the game. Also they are 1-0 when he recovers a fumble. Those workout warriors can make a difference every once in a while.

I can't imagine who in their right mind would've advocated drafting him .... financially speaking that is ....

That said it still looked to me like Mario had the T beat. Not saying it was guaranteed he gets the sack had Leftwich not tripped, but he was in good position.

Texans are 2-0 when they play teams from Florida, at home, at noon, from the AFC, on CBS and one of the announcers (play-by-play or color) is a black man.

:redtowel:

I was just pointing out that whoever gets to the QB first gets credit for a sack, even if the QB had tripped over the referee

It doesn't matter, Mario still sucks even if he gets a mercy sack, handicap sack, or a pity sack!! He gets real bonuses if he gets real sacks!

Does Reggie Bush only get a bonus if his punt return TDs are not the best blocked returns you have seen all year and the only guy he has to shake is the punter?

You know it! He should get his bonus doubled for juking the snot out of the punter, it was a beautiful move just ask any ESPN analyst.
