Did we give up on these guys too soon? I think so. They both looked great in preseason and we played through the preseason like there was no problem at rb. Then after the first two games we abandon the backs we worked with and turn to two rejects denver and green bay. It's apparent the problem lies mostly within the line. Did not see any holes in the dallas game. Saw some in previous games that our new unimproved backs could not hit. I really believe these coaches started second guessing thier decisions with lundy and morency way too soon.

I agree. Morency hasn't been too bad behind a woeful Green Bay line and Wali Lundy finds the gap better than what we've got. Ron Dayne has sucked everywhere he's been since college. Kubiak of all people should have known that, surely.

I'll tell you right now that we'd be better off right now if we had Morency starting; however, it's mainly run blocking and we'd not be all that much better in the win/loss column.
Lundy, if he were starting, would run better, but the pass blocking would suddenly go to crap, so it's give and take.
Another problem is the blocking back(s). I don't see them catching the ball much and I know we gave up one heck of a run blocker to take them on. Where is old Moran Norris now?
