Even tho he’s a longhorn, I was rooting for Shanahan, but man…. That sequence of plays in the red zone in OT is what lost them this game. Had the defense on its heels running the ball down their throat….with an opportunity to get a 1st inside the 5….I’m giving it to McCaffrey 3 straight times. He instead tries passing the ball twice…

He just can’t get out of his own way…If I’m Lynch, I gotta seriously consider moving on from him..

I think Shanny's worst mistake was calling the timeout to change the blitz call. Give the defense a chance to make a play. Instead, they let Mahomes nickel and dime their way down the field. Playing not to lose.

Their offense goes thru C-Mac & the run game. So what does Shannahan do coming out in the 3rd? He comes out pass happy with 3 straight drives where C-Mac gets 1 carry. Even when they were gifted a short field with the Mahomes INT. Not a coincidence they accumulated only 3 total yards in that qtr and the offense stalled. of course when they get back to C-Mac & the run game in the 4th, the offense picks back up.

This is now 3 SB’s and like 4 NFCCG Shannahan has pissed down his leg in big games…it’s time to question if this dude can get them over the hump…he’s got that classic TexanS HC Kubiak choking in big games thing going on now.
