Assuming I'm saying Duke should get more touches.

I was trying to point out the fallacy in your argument. Obviously you didn't understand the point I was trying to make. I will try again, You're comparing a 3 down RB with a 3rd Down RB. Playcalling will be different and Duke has a very limited amount of touches. When McCaffery is in the game the entire playbook is open. When Duke is in the game it's not. An apple/oranges comparison. IMHO

Burrow is going to win the Heisman. Who is his competition for the Heisman? LOL...down year for that. How many Heisman QBs have been ANY GOOD? Burrow has played an Alabama that is no where near as good as the 2 Watson played in the NC games (Those Ds were considered 2 of the best in Alabama history). Burrow has ONE year of good games and another year of decent play. Yeah, let's trade him for Watson.

:toropalm:

You're making excuses, are you saying Burrow wont be a franchise QB? He has no competition because he's been that good.

Race Card has been played, duly noted. BTW, Mahomes/Brissett are 2 of my favorite QB's. I think Brissett is better than Watson when healthy.

No, you are just DUMB about football if you think Brissett is better than Watson. Colts fans are already plotting the way they can get their future QB in the next draft; go read their message boards.

You don get what I'm trying to say. If BOB's scheme is so predictable then why does it work sometimes and other times it doesn't? Are some teams coaches just that much better than others? I'm sure when Belichick confuses Watson again this week it will be all BOB's fault.

We will never agree because I dont think BOB/Smith is coaching Watson to hold the ball too long/Or scramble to his right when he feels pressure.

I also think you're taking the easy way out trying to blame everything on BOB when the last 2 games should've shown you where Watson needs to improve, but it wont unfortunately.

Those two are not putting a strong emphasis on getting rid of it verses holding onto it. If they did, I honestly believe Watson would do what his coaches wanted. The youngster is very studious, coachable and humbled. So why are you continually trying to paint a negative image of Watson like that but steady giving Obrien a pass. That's what I don't understand.

I'm not giving BOB a pass.

I just disagree with you that BOB wants Watson to hold onto the ball like he does. Like I said if that's what BOB wants then he should be fired. That's hardly giving BOB a pass.

I don't know what Burrow will be. I know he is not even close to Watson coming out of college. I damn sure know he is not on Watson's level now.

We will see about this.

I do know he's most likely going to end up in the graveyard that's Cincy so you will probabl look like you're right.

4 TD's the last game in Indy where Brissett clearly outplayed Watson. I want Watson to play the style of ball Brissett plays. Throwing from the pocket and running when he has too,

Bunch of pro Bowlers in there. Back when the Pro Bowl meant something. I thought he also was the QB coach when Brees was there.
Hebert 1 pro bowl in a 10 year career
Jim Everett 1 pro bowl in a 12 year career
Wade Wilson 1 pro bowl in a 19 year career
Drew Bledsoe 4 pro bowls in a 14 year career
Tim Couch :spit:
Kelly Holcomb :spit::spit::spit::spit:
Byron Leftwich 0 pro bowls in a 9 year career
David Garrard 1 pro bowl in an 8 year career
Brady Quinn :spit::spit::spit::spit::spit:
Colt McCoy :spit::spit:
Tarvaris Jackson :spit::spit::spit::spit::spit:
Russel Wilson is far and away the best QB on this list. This dude coached Wilson up about as much as OB coached up TB12. 5 pro bowls to date. Gonna be a 6th and maybe an NFL MVP.

That's 13 pro bowls in 58 career years and I didn't even bother adding up the career years of Wilson and the :spit: posse. This guy might be the reason Watson regresses.

LOL...1 game. Also, the Texans' secondary was BEYOND banged up. They had 3rd and 4th stringers starting at CB (before they even traded for Conley).

If the Texans ask to trade Watson for Brissett, The Colts would sign the trade before the ink was dry.

Watson: 11 games 69 pct 2899 yds 20 TD 7 int 103.4 QBR with 301 yards rushing 5 TDs

Brissett: 10 games 64.5 Oct 1926 yds 15 TD 4 int 95.7 QBR 156 rushing yards 3 TDs

Bwhahaha dude thinks Brissett is better. Man I'm dying laughing over here.

You don't have the best offensive line in the business like Brissett has. Not even close. So stand in the pocket and get killed huh

You do realize the OL has allowed just 7 sacks since week 5? I wonder how many of those are due to Watson holding the ball too long?

So because someone disagrees with you, you two reach for the “R” card?

Smh.

It is sad how that has become the norm.

Has NOTHING to with a disagreement. His argument is IDIOTIC. He picks 2 college QBs that have done NOTHING against Watson? Watching those QBs play, there are not in the same GALAXY as Watson. He also seem to have issues with Warren Moon. He seems to have issues with QB's of color playing Quarterback for Houston teams.

I don't understand it either. You look around the NFL and you see how many teams are searching for young QBs. We have a young QB who has barely played two seasons worth of NFL games, is producing stats at a historical level in a scheme that many experts believe is inflexible and doesn't provide him with enough easy options.

The only logical reason to even contemplate trading Watson is to give O'Brien another excuse. Watson held him back from implementing his genius rebuilding plan and he will need another five years to complete year TWO of his awesome rebuild.

Did you not see how that line was getting destroyed against the freaking Ravens. In that game alone they had 5 sacks. Right after a darn bi week. You want to de so right. The only reason why the line is half way decent is because " WE WERE GETTING THE BALL OUT QUICKER"! The RPO was sprinkled Into the equation and the threat of Watson running kept defenders at bay. That is the reason why the Colts made sure to spy Watson the entire game.

Oh did you not see the Colts 3-4 man rush being able to put pressure on Watson. They didn't respect our offensive line that. Especially after watch the film against the Ravens.

When Watson did hold it too long, credit the secondary. We didn't have any recievers open.

That dude loves him some Steel. So he's going to agree with him no matter what.

Great excuse.

Brisset almost out played Watson on one leg last night.

If we're going to play the if game, if the Colts would've gotten those turnovers the Colts would've beaten the Texans and Brissett would've outplayed Watson and it somehow would've been BOB's fault IF the Texans had lost.

What you should want is an offensive play caller that could tailor his scheme to the players he has. The only time OB has done that is when he "dumbed down" his scheme to accommodate QBs that were new to his system.

I will give you credit for calling Watson out, though. He's looking for the splash play too much and not taking what the D is giving him.

And Watson almost outplayed Luck with some busted ribs. That's pretty irreverent.

Dont tell me

Go checkout the Texans twitter feed.

The Texans are between a rock and a hard place. They have a popular QB that's good and the fanbase is hungry for a good QB since the franchise has never had a good QB before. Bu you're not going to win a championship with him if he doesn't change his style of play. You can blame this on BOB if you wish.

OB has changed his scheme t better fit Watson. Problem is good DC's know Watson's tendencies and scheme to keep him throwing from the pocket and so far Watson has looked confused and has a case of the happy feet in the pocket.

Watching these Rodgers highlights, look how similar Watson's play is to Rodgers. SteelB would tell Packers' fans that their QB drifts too much out of the pocket and should be traded.

Difference is I've seen Rodgers step up into the pocket and deliver the ball accurately. In the playoffs and a SB. Watson has yet to do this consistently in the regular season and until he does I will remain skeptical.

Stats again

Brissett has been playing with a hurt MCL.

I would like to see a link to your source. According to NFL.com the Texans have given up 15 sacks since week 5.

It breaks down like this.

Week 6: Chiefs - 0 Scks
Week 7: Colts - 3 Scks
Week 8: Raiders - 3 Scks
Week 9: Jaguars - 1 Sck
Week 11: Ravens - 7 Scks
Week 12: Colts - 1 Sck

LOL. You ignored the part where the Colts with trade Watson for Brissett a 100/100 times.

Man you're off the chains if you truly believe that. We've seen below average quarterbacks win Superbowls. But hey like I said, this is exactly what you do when you don't like a certain player/s or person.

Crazy how you continue to blame Watson. But after 6 years of concrete evidence on Bill O'Brien, he gets a pass from you. At first it was Rick holding him back now Watson.

Stats that are factual. And miss me with the excuses. Watson played with some F'd ribs and just came back from tearing his ACL.
Part of playing in the NFL. Oh and Brissett did not start this season with a freaking injury like that. Man stop it

I didn't read the date, the 7 sacks as of Nov 14th. My mistake.

When you miss games your stats dont tend to look as good.

Lets move on, I dont think without much improvement from Watson regardless of the HC the Texans will never win a SB and I truly hope he improves but he really hasn't in 3 yrs. Even if I agreed with you (Which I dont) his improvement has been marginal at best.

You disagree which is fine. Minds wont be changed and this is probably boring for the rest of the MB.

Rick was holding back Kubiak as well as BOB. He wasn't very good at his job. That is all.

I've stated this before, and it is just my opinion, but accusations of racism do not belong on this forum. Integrity requires one to argue the merits of his position, not his assumed beliefs about his opponent.

Kubiak was held back the lack of a QB. In 2011, Schaub was playing well until Albert Haynesworth. In 2012, Schaub regressed before our eyes after 10 games into the season. Both of those team could have won Superbowls, if not for the QB play in the playoffs.

It was Kubiak and Smith's fault that they didn't draft a QB or sign Peyton Manning in FA.

Assumed belief based on his argument. His argument makes no sense. So, you look at his arguments.

You need to PM Corrosion for his thoughts on this. He's got inside info. Anyways RS not drafting a QB in a decade, except a couple of late rd guys is inexcusable. Bob McNair gave him a directive to draft a QB or Watson probably wouldn't be here today.

Obviously you dont know me, if you did you wouldn't have made this post.

Because I think Watson's career is going to turn out like Moon's did I'm a racist.

If you truly feel that way you should put me on ignore. I'm not going to put you on ignore because I like the back and forth with you.

But just know I've put others on ignore in the NSZ for this.

Seems like if so many people on here, who don’t even know you, think you’re racist, you should re-examine your posts and tone.

Go root for the Titans. There fans are convinced Tannehill is their QB of the future after 2 games. LOL. How about wait til he plays Defenses better than the Jags or Chiefs and plays a game on the road.

Moon is in the HOF. LOL. Moon's teams in Houston and then in Minny, were held back by defenses.

I've met plenty of people on this MB in person and those that know me know better. That obviously wouldn't be you.

I'm going to continue to give my thoughts, think of me what you will I know my heart and really dont give 2 sh!ts what others think of me.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Just because I'm of the opinion the Texans will never win a SB if Watson doesn't change the way he plays, you post this post. Very weak.

Are you the guy when somebody disagrees with you, you get your FEELINGS hurt very easily?

Keep telling yourself this.

A HOF doesn't lose a 35-3 lead in the 3rd qtr in the playoffs regardless of what the defense does. For this reason he shouldn't be in the HOF. Glanville said it best, great QB that cant win when it counts he most. He also blew playoff games with big leads (Denver) before 35-3 and after 35-3 (Chiefs.)

He's in, so obviously Pancakes influence helped him get in.

So he's the reason why they blew those leads. Ok gotcha.

Wrong the offense did their jobs. It was the defense who screwed the pooch when they went to a very soft cover two.

If the offense had put a drive together even without scoring there wouldn't have been enough time for a comeback. I guess you've never heard of the term complimentary football. This was the Oilers biggest issue back then. I mean you had Ryan/Gilbride fighting on the sideline because Gilbride's stupid resume building throwing the ball instead of running the clock out cost Buddy his starting S Marcus Robertson due to an ACL. his happened the next yr after Buffalo against the NYJ's late in the season.
