2019 Training Camp

Shut up...If he was scared to tell him that, then he has no business on a football field with grown men trying to knock his block off. Pressure is part of the game whether it be from coaches or fans. & I'll wait for you to come up with proof where he threw temper tantrums with Foster & Watt. You're reaching.....as usual.
It's not about being scared to tell him something. It's about not being on the field, your HC talking **** through the media, and knowing as each day goes by your HC (the guy with power if you play) is upset and questioning your commitment. It's not about Warring, it's about OB and his flaws as a leader. You wouldn't understand though.

Not OBs job to keep players healthy.

The idiot is you. Talking **** through the media? Questioning commitment? you got all of that out of a 20 sec. sound bite?

Until his players start calling him out for his "flaws" as leader & or they quit on him, the garbage you're spewing has no merit.

Deal with the fact that you'd be shook to tell your coach you're still hurt.

Good move by Crennel. At least one part of the team is making sense.
And there is the spin. RAC isn’t even part of the team currently sharing GM duties. BTW, play GM. You bring in a guy like Fells for competition at TE who has always been labeled a blocker only. To his credit he embraced that competition in both OTA’s and TC making an outstanding catch in traffic the other night. Kudos to the coaching staff for embracing competition and giving him a fair chance to win a job. Better still he’s a good guy. But this wasn’t supposed to happen. He was here to push the three other TE’s, perhaps to be better blockers. He became a fly in the ointment in a good way. What do you do now with your TE situation? You can’t put any of the four on the PS. They would get sucked up. Warring probably by the Pats. Who knows but Fells looked good early as did Warring in OTA’s. But by TC Warring had an undisclosed injury that occurred in a personal workout? There is zero proof he was rushed back by anyone. Our TE’s already look to be The Jordans and Fells. But Warring is by no means a bust. What would you do? I’d PUP him to save him and see how the season goes regarding injury at that position.

Nothing to see here, just another Bill O'Brien off-season.

Brought to you by the same guy who gave us the Hoyer/Mallet carousel, Brock Osweiler, Savage getting reps and starting over Watson, and now this.

Meanwhile the defense somehow continues to do well...

Yes, let's give credit to OB for continuing to have a good defense year over year.

:uprights::lol: It’s just nonsensical with these guys. The ironic thing is, when the offense was clicking how everyone wanted it to in the 7 games in 2017, the defense blew 2 huge games.

This isn't trying to figure out what they have. They have stated over and over they want the versatility.

Lots of teams project players to new positions. E.g. common with college 4-3 DE going to NFL 3-4 OLB. You don't see those guys dropped back down to 3-4 DE often.

OB came out post draft and talked about the 2 new OTs. Well then practice them at those spots. Most teams have their 1st & 2nd round picks practice most at their intended positions.

How the hell do they know Howard can't handle LT if they don't even practice him there much?
They find out whether they have versatility by playing them at different positions.

7 games in 5 years the offense has clicked.

That is a very low bar to clear. Yes, the defense was bad one out of 5 years

As are defensive stats and rankings when they’re largely amassed from beating up on the likes of Marcus Mariota, Blake Bortles and Cody Kessler...

Vaunted defense has shown decent against 1 quality qb in 5 years.

:ant:

Tell u what, i’ll Leave u alone for a whole 2 days if u can tell me who that quality qb was.

You want to play that game? Tell us which quality opponent our offense has dominated in the playoffs?

Hell tell us which quality opponent our offense has dominated in the regular season.

When was the offense clicking? I saw the Abracadabra play working well & the razzamatazz was productive. But to say the offense was "clicking" is a bit of an overstatement.

Fact is the ready/not ready-to-play call should NOT have been up to the player OR the coach but the medical staff.
Period.

Neither our defense nor offense have performed well in the playoffs..unless u count the defense beating up on a 3rd string qb that’s actually not even in the league anymore. but to answer your 2nd part:

NE 2017 = 30 pts - L cause the defense couldn’t stop brady
SEA 2017 = 30 pts - L cause the defense couldn’t stop Wilson
Philly 2018 = 30 pts - L cause the defense couldn’t stop Foles
Colts 2018 = 30 pts - W, but almost lost, thank Frank, Lol
Colts 2018 = 28 pts - L b/c the defense couldn’t stop Luck

See a trend here?

Texans have never been able to stop a good QB. I don't see it being any different this year and also if the game is close BOB making a poor decision will happen at some point in the game.

What team has ever been able to stop a good QB, other than the Giants a couple times?

Texans did it in 2015 against Brees....in the Superdome no less. Held NO to just 6 pts, Brees had no TD passes. Brian freakin Hoyer outplayed him that day. Behold, the 1 quality qb our defense actually held down in 5 years.

Obviously asking them to hold these caliber of QBs to no TDs and 6 pts is unrealistic..but can we shoot for around 24 pts at least & not let the opponent ring all that up in the 1st damn qtr? At least make it tough for them to score that.

Yep it's all on the defense. Not Bill Obrien or his offense. Got ya

Several of those games had the offense turning it over in Texas territory, special teams giving up TDs, and the defense forcing turnovers in opponent red areas

So...Just to make sure i'm keeping up with your fuckery:

when the defense shits the bed, its on the offense & ST for not scoring more points to help the defense overcome its own suckiness

but when the offense shits the bed, its solely b/c the offense is horrible & no good & BoB & the playcalling etc?

Ok, Got ya.

Also don't forget that our defense can't stop top tier QBs because no one can stop top tier QBs, that was one of my favorites.

If the offense turns it over in the Texans red zone, as Bill O'Briens system often does, that is not the defenses fault. Also has nothing to do with the defense if a kickoff is returned for a TD.

The defense also gets credit when it causes a turnover in the opponent red zone

You lie & obfuscate & then back up your crap with... damn more lies.

Well thank God the defense is going to be so God awful that we'll probably roll out a 2-14 or 3-13 season and we get that Ass Crack out of NRG. That is if his offense doesnt come through and actually win some games.. LMAOOOOOO what am I saying.

Bye Bye Billy .. this SOS and the fact the defense is bottom tier will seal your fate!

:kitten:

In other news, other than the kid they signed last week, has this team done anything else to address the backup QB position? In case I missed something.....
