NFL Random Thought of the Day

I don't want the Cowboys near the SB. And I certainly don't want a Cowboy - Texan SB. 'Cause just given what the Texans have done to me already, they'd lose that SB and I'd be mentally scarred for the rest of my short life.

Lol, I know my position is very unpopular with Houston fans. Remember, I'm from Austin. Texas 1st.

I don't believe the Cowboys have done anything more than win a WC P/O game since the 20th century so if they or anybody else is able to beat both the Rams & NOLA on the road in the NFC P/Os and thereby reach the SB they deserve all the hype they would receive.

Deserves don't count, I'm anti-Cowboys through and through. LOL

Things rarely stay the same from season to season, but it's hard to see the Chiefs getting anything but better. Same for the Colts. Our schedule next year is brutal.

and we’ll be better, I mean, we couldn’t have gotten much worse at a couple positions.

I like how this cowboy game is working out

Can't tell tell you how many times this past week I was asked what time the texans play this weekend

Cowboys up 7-3 and who knew they were playing at home, geesh all blue, white and silver in that crowd
I knew, but the team has to do their part. We are gonna show up, & if I didn’t have a locked in commitment today, I would be there to the bitter end.

This is the second time I've watched a Rams game this season, the first time they looked better than they do today. This time they're certainly running better on offense though.

Yeah, that was a pretty stupid call. LOL

Do any of you remember calls from back in the day when they'd call a 5 yard penalty on the home team if the fans were too loud and the visiting team couldn't hear QB calls at the line? Don't remember the exact verbiage, but I've seen at least 2 of those made while watching the NFL. The last one had to be at least 15 years ago.

soo umm what did the chiefs do different on defense that the Texans didnt do ..???

I guess not give up 14 points in the first 4 mins ….

yes, but they seldom call it anymore. According to this that rule was a result of some teams pumping in artificial noise to disrupt opposing offenses.

New England needs to lose the noon game tomorrow. After that I can watch the playoffs in peace.

Rams ran the ball a lot tonight, the only other game I've seen them in this year they passed a lot. Seemed like I was watching two different Ram teams.
