Our Saturday December Game

I love that we get one of the two Saturday games in 2018. These have always been a special part of my family's tradition. We do some shopping, and then we come home and watch whoever is on as a family and have dinner. Seeing that Watson will take aim at destroying the big apple this Christmas season on Saturday and be center stage for the world to see, I notice one thing:.... there's TWO games that day at 4:30 PM ET. The Browns and Broncos are also scheduled at 4:30 PM ET.

Both games say they'll be on NFL network. I cannot find anything on the subject otherwise or with more information. Is this correct, or will the better of the two games be flexed to the 8:00 primetime slot? Has anyone heard anything, anywhere, whether it be twitter or ?

I can't wait to see Watson and the fellas go into New York and tear apart Darnold and the Jets just a few weeks before Christmas. Out in the elements. Shredding a good defense. That's what it's all about. I bet we win our 9th game that day and guarantee a winning season, and will be in the hunt for a 1 or 2 seed. remember I said it.

tldr;

Thanks to anyone who can shed more light on the situation about two 4:30 games that Saturday...

I'm looking forward to seeing all the games. Hopefully these company men on these rig location will have both the local and NFL league pass. If not I will find away to stream our games.

Let's go Texans

That Dec 15 game has been listed as a time "to be determined." We probably don't have a final time before at least 2 weeks before the game.
So they won't both go at 4:30?

Have to think if one is at 4:30 and one at 8:00... with the Browns being the other game.... primetime baby!

It will be one of the two... more than likely the early game since they will be east coast and the other being mountain

Since both of these game times are based on Eastern Standard Time (no time "hardship" for teams or fans involved would exist at either time), I see the better/more interesting matchup as determined closer to the game date will determine who plays the prime time evening game.

Truly feel like this is the day we get to win 9 or 10 and clinch a playoff spot or all but clinch it.
Jax will win our division but we will get a wildcard spot with a 10-6 record. Our much-maligned division will be praised.

Jags were 10-6 last season with 2 easy wins over us. Not seeing where your prediction comes from other than your usual "Texans lose."

I'm predicting the best record yet under BoB and a place in the playoffs. So what do you mean my usual Texans lose?

Because you have them (the Texans) certainly losing the division which requires the Jags to get better at the same time the Texans get better. Your teetter-totter may get a little higher at times, it never lands on Texans win.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion my friend. I think that they need good QB play, and aren't guaranteed it. They'll be the WC team if Bortles doesn't step up. Too many people just writing them in.

Texans can get better and still not reach the level of last season's Jags. A Texans win at the end of the playoffs would mean a SB championship, which I won't predict until there's reason to think it will happen. That's a few seasons away, at best.

The Eagles were 7-9 and 4th in their division before winning the SB. Nothing is a few seasons away at best.

I feel like you just never know. A defense that plays well and a star QB, and you have a shot in this league.

And of coming off of a last place divisional finish like that gives a team a comparitively easier schedule than their competition.

And clearly that can be a big deal, maybe the difference between a team making the POs or not, right ?

Doesn't account for the win improvement of the Eagles last year
