Wow I bought in after saying that a first round embarrassment was in the cards and I get rewarded with this game. Horrible fan I am.
 
Turn out the lights.....the party's over.....(this season & the next 2 or 3...NFL is a QB league....Could someone please tell Obrien & Godsey this...

Agreed. Bringing Hoyer here completely zapped any enthusiasm and hope I had for this season and caused me to start the crash and burn thread at the beginning of the season. If Hoyer is brought back, that will kill my fandom for the near future. Invest in a high draft pick QB and let's see how the chips fall. Sick and tired of garbage, leftover QBs. **** Hoyer, I hope his last memory as a Texan is of getting booed mercilessly.
 
This game is on Hoyer and BOB... Hoyer was beyond horrific and BOB for keeping his boy in... what a ******* disgrace. I figured we wouldnt go anywhere in the playoffs but i didnt think we would embarrass ourselves this bad... this is truly awful.

I think I want him fired because I don't trust him to pick a qb.

If he is the guy that couldn't wait to get Hoyer to town because he thought he was a damn good qb then I don't trust him picking the qb for this team with a first round pick.

I don't trust his decision making with the most important position in the team....so for that, I think I want him gone.
 
How bout the brilliant offensive play calling tonight!!...Really gives ya a lot of confidence for next season.

I'll watch till the end but I feel you man. This was not even a contest. But admit it you'll be back next season. Look on the bright side our teams shitty play gives us a reason to get lit up our favorite liquor.
 
Hoyer should enjoy his final plays as a Houston Texan. At least it had better be his final plays.

Nah, anyone who knows a lick about football would disregard it as garbage time "heroics".

That said, maybe BOB is keeping Hoyer into get a TD or two in "garbage time" to salvage the so-called confidence.... which only matters if you plan to have him back next year, and.... yikes!
 
Any other team would have a QB that would have tucked it in and ran up the middle of the field for a first down. The Texans have QBs who can't do that and fumble when they are dancing around with an easy 10 yards in front of them.
