It's okay Thorn, you are grandfathered in, as you were Trolling everyone before they had to clamp down on all the new ones who'll appear 3 seconds after the draft pick is made! :kitten:

One suggestion: could you add a poll to that thread (in the form: do you like the pick? 1) yes 2) no)? I used to start threads like that in the past years and always found the results really interesting. But I probably have to sleep this year when we make our picks... and it`s better to have just one thread about the pick anyways.

(the bolded) Ain't that the truth!! There's no telling who'll show up tonight. I don't mind us (all "us" who have posted here) going crazy after the pick, that's to be expected. I just hope we don't have a thousand new trollers which make it more difficult to just fight amongst ourselves.

Come on Thorn, you're experienced enough to know that a first round draft pick and a pick 6 by a Texans QB leads to an extreme spike in 'new recruits' to the board.

And that is why Cak and the mod-squad get to use the TexansTalk corporate jet - it's hard work holding back the 10,000 unemployed GMs we'll have visiting tonight! :pirate:

We should all just hang out in the Tailgate section and name our draft discussion thread "Compromising Photos of Bill" - no-one will ever think of looking for us all in there!
 
Isn't there a 24 hour wait period on new membership that permits posting?

If not, can one be set up temporarily for say, the next 3 days?

Starts on TV in Canada at 4:30 pacifc time (so half an hour before draft time) - which might translate if we're just picking up the same actual broadcast from the US.

I believe NFL Network began their pre-game show about 3 and a half days ago...

OK, I'm watching the NFLN coverage and I have to ask ... WTF is up with the GD fashion show angle? Who actually gives a GD what suit a football player is wearing or what scarf their mother is wearing?!?! Did I tune into the E! Network without knowing it? Again, WTF?

couldn't agree more. i've just left it on espn because i don't want to see a fashion show with awkward mom interviews. did they completely forget who their target audience is?
