Is JJ Watt cursed? (specifically within the last year)

I have no idea where to post this, and it's totally off-topic... but I really think JJ Watt is cursed or something.

Everywhere he goes/attends, the team he's playing for or rooting for ends up losing in heartbreaking fashion.
Obviously, we all know about the Texans last year... but let's dig deeper:

  • The Pro Bowl. AFC is up and blows the game at the very end and he can't even get a win at the end of the season. (you know he wanted it after losing 100 games in a row in the regular season)
  • He was shown at the Rose Bowl rooting for Wisconsin. They ended up losing to Stanford (by 6).
  • He was shown at the Final Four game when Wisconsin ended up losing on that last second shot by Kentucky.
  • He was shown at the Rockets Game 1 Playoff game where the Blazers and refs stole the game away in overtime.

I haven't seen JJ Watt in the same building as a win in a long, long time. Pretty weird, huh? If you're rooting for a team, I'm not sure you want to see him in the building!

If Watt is cursed I'll take some of what he's got. I'd be a lot richer. My sports teams don't do any better than his so bring it on.

Many pro sports athletes sell their souls to the flying spaghetti monster. Everyone knows that.

He and Brooks watched the AZ/WI basketball game together in WI (had a bet on the outcome) and WI won by one point.

I wanted Wisconsin to win the basketball championship so bad; for selfish reasons :D

I believe in the JJ Watt curse, it exists. Along with the David Carr, Bennie Joppru, Tony Boselli, & Amobi Okoye curses. Wait, no I don't.

I'm sure that JJ considers himself blessed that he is in a position to make a positive impact in many people's lives across all spheres of society - not cursed.

Perhaps JJ is banking up some good karma to make sure that the next time the Texans go to the promised land they come home with a Vince Lombardi.

He's just been in Houston long enough now that our curse has rubbed off on him. Welcome to the club, JJ.
