This is from a week ago, but I didn't see it posted anywhere.

A long article by Peter King, talking Matt Schaub, offense, and defense.

EDIT: Check that, the article was written by Andy Benoit.

disagree with the headline.
disagree with the notion that schaub is out of pocket passer
disagree with the notion that schaub doesnt lose big games

Every naked bootleg play they run is an out of pocket pass. It's bread and butter of this offense. He's not mobile, but he can complete a pass out of a bootleg play.

That's cause the end is biting on the run play, look at the bootlegs where the end doesn't and you'll see the other side of the naked bootleg play..

Schaub doesn’t necessarily lose big games, he just lacks the dynamic tools to win them.

The most interesting comment.

I think it's funny that if we do get to the Super Bowl, Schaub throws the go ahead touchdown & our defense makes a goal line stand in the final seconds of the game..... Schaub won't get the credit Joe Flacco has.

He'll still be the QB who "lacks the dynamic tools to win them."

Even though that team is as talented as ours. Well, hopefully DeAndre or Posey will prove to add to our offense the way Torrey Smith did.

I would be delighted to spend most of 2014 debating all of you over what percentage of credit Matt Schaub deserves for the Super Bowl victory.

For the record I'm going to go ahead and take the "lacks the tools" side.
