(3) Texans @ (2) Patriots 3:30. 1/13. **Official Divisional GameDay Thread**

Pats have absolutely no fear or respect for Schaub. DBs were all lined up in tight man daring the Texans to take a shot and they wouldn't. Brady would have torched a defense playing him like that. Oh we'll. Can't tell if I'm happy with the HT score or not.

You mean everyone but those two deep safeties?

This is at least a competitive game.

I mean, it's not a run-away game. It's close.

Wade Phillips, this is now all on your guys. You have to be aware of Brady's favorite targets on 3rd downs. You have to implore your guys to chop their feet and stay with their RB for the SURE tackle.

I cannot really fault the offense. Gary is making some obvious bad play calls, such as those screen plays that nobody will fall for except against Jax in OT.

In fairness, it wasn't 17-10...it was 17-3 and Foster took us onto his back for that TD.

I'd say it's OK to be anxious and frustrated. That's just me.

People can feel how they want to feel. Without being called idiots for it, which is against forum rules to name-call. By the way. :tiphat:

The fact that the Texans scored 10 unanswered points after I posted that sort of proves my point. :shades:

And you and I both know that people have said a lot worse things than I did on this forum. Plus, I didn't direct it towards any one person. If someone felt offended by it, then they know who they are. :swing:

Welker 6 for 120 long of 47

Andre 4 for 54 long of 16

Oh I know. I've been torched on here plenty enough, I know what you're saying.

But this team hasn't earned the level of trust, yet, to have all of us on the "faith wagon" when we were down 17-3 nearing the end of the half.

And this thing can blow up with Brady & Co. at a moment's notice. We're hanging with them. We're in the game. I'm nowhere near comfy though.

Unsung hero....Ryan Harris. Played much better when he came in for Newton at RT. Hopefully he can keep it going. Just give Arian a crease and he will make something out of it.

Defense....wake up. We had this not being ready when the Patriots rush last time. Get on your man and know who your coverage is. Other than that not much can be said. Some pressure being applied but we aren't even covering for a couple of seconds. Huge cushions and some guys are left open too.

Stuck at work, limited internet access.

Jumped onto ESPN scoreboard at the 2 minute warning.

Saw we were down 14 with on the 5yrd line. Made the assumption we would score on the series (ever the optimist).

Come back and we scored twice.

Really happy with the score line, I was expecting to get POUNDED.

Hopefully no let up in the second half and if the ball bounces right......

I think the adjustments on offense have been made...now we need wade to do the same on defense...cant have brandon harris on welker anymore...and they've got to solve the line up problems on defense...wade's getting exposed a little with that..

I'd like to isolated Andre on Talib and throw it deep once. See what happens. Better to waste a down like that than try running against Wilfork for the 7th time.

You're miserable.

I'm not a sunshiner/doomer regarding Kubiak, but I liked his comments after the half. Seems like he is realizing that we need to be aggressive to take care of business today.

Has anyone SEEN

If so, please notify Rick Smith, Houston Texans

He is wanted for stealing weekly paychecks and doing very little to earn them

We've seen everything this weekend.

1.) A 49er team blow by a veteran "big game" Packers team...with a scrambling QB.

2. ) Broncos losing in 2 OT periods...when it looked like they could close the deal at any point.

3.) A crazy game with the Flacons-Hawks where one team won the game then the other team decided it was going to win the game instead.

What will be the story for this game?

I am hoping it ends with Andre Johnson making the play of his life.

There has not been a real GRINDER of a game this weekend. Is this game going to be that game?

Who cares?? We'll break this!

Yep, any kind of route deep where Dre can a hitch or something I think he beats Talib whose not the most disciplined of Corners.

If I see him give up another 10 yard play to Welker on 3rd down I am going to freaking puke...

Better CBs than Brandon Harris have tried & failed. Don't blame BH... at least he's making him work for it.

That last one, I thought I saw a push off anyway.

No more short ass passes to the side or wideout screeens/Gary yo throw deep.

What ever they did to get Foster going, they need to keep at it. I also why don't the Texans throw a little of the Pats own medicine at them and go no huddle. Wilfork couldn't handle that...

Our run game has now become almost no ZBS and now just Foster racing to the edge and going north/south rather than dancing around. Hope it continues.

Wade has to have made some form of adjustments to account for the Patriots' quick RB and elusive Welker who finds holes in the field.
