Death to Google Ads! Texans Talk Tip Jar! 🍺😎👍
Thanks for your support!

JJ Watt is a damned decent human being!

Let's just hope he hasn't stiffed GP on a tip so we can keep this positive :D

But seriously, incredible stuff. This is the kind of player who makes it impossible not to love him. I'll be cheering for JJ even if he ever plays for another team. He's just such a complete person. This is inspiring.

i still think we need some Just straight Bad boy street guys on our team at least one or two u know just straight Swagger badass PLay makers

JJ is my son's (12 yrs old) favorite player and has been before he had the renown that he has now.

He asked me the other day: "Dad, if you could be tackled by any of the Texans, who would it be?"

I thought for a second and not waiting, he stated: "If it were me, I would want to be tackled by JJ WATT! That'd be cool. But what about you Dad?"

I looked over at him and said, "Well son just about anyone of the Texans CHEERLEADERS would have to be my choice."

We both got a pretty good laugh out of that.
:)

I saw the game at the bar and I'm glad they didn't have the volume on or I'd be in full boo hoo mode at a bar.

I can say that the interactions I've had with him at camp stuff etc, he's been very generous to fans in general. Like he goes the extra mile for fans.

Love to see athletes who get it. He doesn't just rely on his athletic gifts but works as hard as anyone. And realizes his special place in the community and in growing this franchise.

I went to school with the father, and it's great to see how well the kiddos are doing, and what a blessing JJ appears to be making in their lives.

Steph... I'm pretty sure most people know what made you go boo-hoo! Everything else beyond her are heart-wrenching to be sure, but certainly not boo-hoable in comparison! #Debutante

BTW, I'm sorta surprised it took this long (and I think maybe it was) posted about JJ and the Berry kids. This story, well, has been a story for quite some time.

Awesome, just plain bad ass! Things like this is what makes me a huge fan of a player. I like a player that is dominant on the field, and a stand up guy off the field as well.

This story brought tears to my eyes when I read about the wreck and brought them again watching that video.

Have you ever sat and daydreamed about winning the lottery and all the good things you'd do if you did win it? JJ probably did the same thing and is holding true to his word. An amazing man.

Norg, JJ and Suh meet in a dark alley....who do you think walks out? Swagger only gets you so far. You can be a bad azz sumbitch that nobody messes with and a good human being. Swagger is all hat and no cattle, all sizzle and no steak. JJ is the King Ranch and prime rib. There's no BS or back up in that man.

I actually went to High School with Josh (the father) as well but hadn't seen him in years. I remember having dinner with him at Chuys in '92 or so but nothing since.

Kind of makes you think though...I saw one of his last FB posts then hear that he was killed about 10 hours later. Terrible accident.

JJ Watt surprises young cancer patient

»HOUSTON—When we first*told you about a 12-year-old in Splendora*who was fighting leukemia by using a robot named “Watt” that goes to elementary school for him, someone named “Watt” was watching that story too and decided he needed to pay a surprise visit.Cristian Beasley*is one of 34 students across the country using the*VGo telepresence system. From a home computer they can control a small robot, drive from class to class, and take part in classroom lectures and discussions. The children are encouraged to give their robots a nickname.* Cristian named his after Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.*“’Cause I love J.J. Watt,” he said. The Texans star saw the story and decided Cristian was someone he had to meet.

What a ****ing badass dude

How? I looked but said they aren't out yet and I want a pair...

The actual name of the shoe is nike free trainer 5.0 and they are already out in select colors. Plus you can always go to nikeID and make your own colorways. I think the "megawatt" version of these he's talking about is just the all-white color with his name on the back like in the pic.

Here are the ones i saw in Champs and Finish line..but i've also seen other colors as well.

Like the design.
Hate the colors (Denver Broncos)
OTOH, Steel Blue and white might be nice....

As Texans fans, we are lucky to have a player a player like him off and on the field.

I hope he never has a 'scandal' or any other reason to think that his actions are less than genuine. I think that would break Houston's collective heart.

At this point, he's like our own Marion Barry: If he ever got caught smoking crack, we'd still be willing to elect him mayor.
