Titans Road game 12/2

Who's attending?

Since this is my only "home" game of the season, I am totally looking forward to the weekend. I highly recommend flying in on Friday night, if possible. Key checking this thread for the plans that I am creating for Texans fans.

Few tips:

Hotels-Hutton Hotel is my favorite. It just depends on the type of vibe you like at hotels. Hilton Hotel is also a good place in the middle of downtown Nashville. Close to great restaurants and the honky tonk bars.

Events for Saturday- 11-4pm 12 South Winter Warmer Beer Festival. Tickets are $55

8pm- Fan Meetup in Downtown Nashville. Broadway Brewhouse on Broadway.

Sunday- Post game- Hooters on 2nd Avenue.

Tailgating options:

If you wish to hang with me, there will be two welcoming tailgates in lots A & C that I will be attending. You can bring your own booze if you wish or just bring a tip for the hosts. Both lots have great food.... One is a chef and the other works with Monell's in Nashville.

If you want to do your own thing, I suggest getting a parking pass in one of those same lots. Tailgating kicks off early. I plan to be there at 8am!

Game Day parking-
1. Buy a parking pass.
2. Park at some of the surrounding cash lots. I normally park at the Salvation Army parking lot on 1st Ave.
3. If you are staying at the Hilton or a downtown hotel, you can walk across the Shelby St. bridge.
 
There will 8 of us going, We are staying downtown on Union Street.

We are definitely interested in joining a Tailgate Group for the game

2pm- Yazoo Brewery Tour and Fan Meetup. The tour begins at 2:30pm. The cost of the tour is $7.00 and it includes a pint glass and a free beer. There will also be free samples of the beer during the tour. Yazoo is our local craft beer similar to Saint Arnold's. You can buy tour tickets online.*

Meet at Broadway Brewhouse. 317 Broadway. Meet at the bar area. Eat, drink, and mingle with fellow Texans fans before the pub crawl to the historic Downtown Nashville country bars. Be sure to try Toosies, Coyote Ugly.*

Sunday-

Tailgate- highly recommend buying a parking pass in lots A or C. There is a Texans fan that is buying a pass for to host a Texans tailgate. More details on local is coming soon. Final information will be given at the Saturday meetup.*

Tailgating starts early in Nashville. I recommend going at 8, so you can get the full experience and then be able to enter the stadium early for player warm ups.

Post game-
3:30 ish- Meet at the Downtown Hooters for celebration drinks and wings.*
184 2nd Avenue North. It is within walking distance from the stadium.

7pm- Whiskey Kitchen. We can continue to hang at one of my favorite bars in the city and watch the night game.*

You guys have fun! Represent well (as we always do).

I will have to make it to Nashville next year (especially since it's only 3 hours away). It sucks I couldn't fit it in to the plans after the move here.

What time on Sat do you get here and where are you staying? If you come early enough, please come to Yazoo? It should be a cool time and the weather looks great so far.

I will be close to downtown. I will probably be down there around 6 o'clock.
