Johnathan Joseph limited, status unclear for Week 4

Sit him if there's any question.

Not having him changes the secondary dramatically, but I'd feel better having him be fully healthy before he plays.

Yep, but I think he will be able to play. Foster had some issues with knee again but will start.

I'm going ALL caps on this........

JJO WILL BE AT FULL SPEED v. the Tinnbreds!!! Briitt HA)S NO CHANCE..... THEN again, we may not even need to play JJo, although (if not necessary) I would be good. If truly injured and needs to sit out................

EFF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE GOT THIS!!!

(RIP Blazing Sparrow, we still remeber you, love you and respect you....... Please RIP. You and your family are still in our thoughts)

If he's out then who plays opposite of KJ? I think McCain is suited for the slot more then outside. Harris is obviously not ready seeing as he gets almost 0 playtime. And the thought of Ball back there scares the **** out of me.

Maybe move Quin down to CB for the game and let Demps play safty? I just don't know.

Yeah but, Wade said Ball so no Quin down to CB. In Wade We Trust.

Go Texans!!!

Oh my, a groin injury? I wonder if this is something new, or something he's been dealing with for a while. It would explain a lot if it's been nagging him for a couple of weeks.

I feel ill!! With KJ on one side and Ball on the other, look for the meatballs to light up their passing game. Yep, IN WADE WE TRUST, with a hint of trepidation, since he kept Ball on the team to start with! Still can't figure that one out. Maybe Wade has a soft spot for ex Cowboys! :) Our FURIOUS FOUR better be puttin some heavy pressure on the foot Locker!! JMO!

Well Britt is on my fantasy team...

My condolences......Britt's got an ankle problem again. He'll be a game time decision. With or without J Jo, Britt will be allowed to limp around the field without being a factor...........whether he ends up on the sideline or on the field itself.

“Very frustrating, very frustrating,” said Britt, who has yet to practice this week. “It’s like something I can’t get right, injury after injury. The last healthy season I had was my rookie year and ever since then it was just a downfall. It is something I can’t control. The only thing I can control is my rehab and trying to get back as soon as possible.”

Britt has seven catches for 60 yards in two games (he was suspended for the season opener against the Patriots). He said he’s still sore, and he hopes to play against the Texans on Sunday at Houston, but he made no promises: “It’s possible. There’s no counting me out,” he said. “I am not counting myself out.”

I'd give J Jo a rest this game.

I don't think Britt is playing. Plus, I'm PETRIFIED of Ball even seeing the field, let alone starting! I don't understand why the hell he would even start in the first place when he's clearly the worst corner or on the team!

I dont know about that ... He had a rough patch in preseason but even on those plays he was called for penalties or gave up catches he had decent coverage. His problem was getting his head around to locate the ball.

He was much better in zone coverage than he was in man and closed on recievers very quickly.

Also he was on the field with the 3rd unit most of the time and they didnt generate the type of pass rush he will benifit from playing with the starters. He wont have to cover as long even if he does have to cover better recievers.

Im not overly concerned if he has to fill in for a week , especially against a Titans team that ranks near the bottom of the league in passing offense despite playing from behind from the get go in two of three games.

how does bolded change when he is guarding starters? Being on field with better teammates will not help him turn his head.

I can hear 70,000 fans screaming "turn your head Forrest! Turn your head!"

First , it depends on what coverages they run .... second , a QB who's uncomfortable in the pocket due to pressure isnt as likely to make an accurate throw meaning he has some room for error.

Third .... what amounts to a rookie QB being harrassed by that front seven .... I'd take my chances this week with Ball to make sure J.Jo isnt out longer or at a more critical time in the season.

The Texans are clearly the better team on both offense and defense .... I think they can afford to take the precaution of sitting J.Jo and still win the game. Texan fans should know well how a groin injury can linger if not healed properly.

Will start Sunday according to SR610 text.

Just released:

Head Coach Gary Kubiak

(on the team’s health) “We’re full go today. Everybody is back. (CB Johnathan Joseph) is fine, took a full allotment of practice, expect him to be ready to go. (WR) Lestar Jean is the only guy that was still out. We should, barring any problems, should have everybody available other than Lestar.”

(on if it’s a relief to see CB Johnathan Joseph back practicing)
“Yeah, I thought that’s where we were heading, but you never know until he gets back out there. So unless he comes in sore tomorrow or there is a problem, he sure looked pretty good at practice today.”

Great news, looks like J Jo is playing after all. Aren't we feel a lot better right SheTexan?

Go Texans!!!

I won't be surprised if Wade doesn't work J Jo too hard this next game........and we see a KJ and Ball tandem for part of the game.

I also wouldn't expect All-Pro play out of Jjo while he nurses this injury. Good enough, maybe. Better than the guys we've got on the depth chart, most likely.

Pro Bowl calbre? doubt it.
