Foster's tweets, and interview responses, are some of the best in the NFL. On the eve of the opener I thought starting a thread to gather them in a central location would be fun.

Well then, who the hell is Gary Fischer? Bobby Fischer is a chess player, but any correlation between GARY Kubiak telling a player how nuch he will play and Bobby FISCHER moving a chess piece is a reach of ludicrous proportions. I won't even bother with the obvious contradictions. It's just silliness.

isnt gary fisher considered one of the creators of the modern bike. i could be completely wrong but thats what i thought

Maybe Gary Kubiak had an Aunt that married Gary Fisher's uncle and they had a great,great,great,great grandkid that could run a world class NFL offense and completely suck in all things defense? NAh!!!! This person would also think that Mario Williams would be a great WOLB. Nobody would ever think that!!

Gary Fisher pioneered the design of what we now call a mountain bike back in the 70's. He still makes great bikes to this day. Gary Fisher Bikes are part of the Trek family.

I don't tweet, but, I love reading his stuff on FB and what the mods put up on the front page. Also, what Steph and Aj writes about him. Foster is a complicated guy, very cerebral, and I find that makes him even more fun and interesting. At least he's articulate, something we can't say for about 80% of the players in the NFL!!

I will give him that. He is a bright dude. And the press confrence in pteredactyl (sp) was genious, but there's a fine line between being insightful/introspective and being being pompous windbag. I like him overall, I just don't care for the whole fortune cookie wrapped in a football player schtick. Having said that it could be worse. What if he were Chad Johnson-like? That would suck.

Count me in as agreeing with you. Rep your way.

Everybody's in love with him because he's Big Man on Campus. Whatever he says, the crowd is in awe of him.

Here's a hyperbole example of something he would do, and the after effects of it: "Hey, dwittle twittle...dee-dee-boppity-boop. You know what I'm saying?" And the crowd goes wild, remarking how insightful he is. Geez.

And if any of you flame me for saying the above ^^^, I'll just have my mom come on here and defend my honor. So be careful...she knows how insightful and deep I am.

Pretty much. I love Arian on the field--a lot. I guess I just like my dudes to not dabble with stuff like this off the field. I don't like them to act like their Kanye West or something, giving some "insightful", "forced individualistic", "look at me I'm so enlightened" stuff.

Amare Stoudemire, one of my favorite players in the NBA and someone who dominated for my team for so many years used to do this **** too. He tried getting in touch with his philosophical douche side, and it turned me off of him. Unfollowed his ass.

These guys arent going to miss some punk kid from LA following them, but it's just my opinion.
