Basically it revolved around when we played them in game 1 a couple years ago here in Houston when we got totally embarrassed by Mark "the magic" Sanchez and the J-E-T-S.
There is a backstory that before the game while the team was in Houston, Rex was out around town, wasn't doing normal preperation, stuff like that. His GM asked him what he was doing, why he wasn't preparing too much, Rex stated he didn't need to, that the Texans are Charmin Soft and that it was an auto/gimme Win for them.......which as we know it turned out to be.
Essentially he had/still has no respect for the Texans and neither does his team nor is any needed.
Personally, I think a lot of teams and coaches/players view the Texans in this manner..........Rex is just the only one saying it.
Though I'm sure other coaches would love to have this job with the Texans.....let's face it, you can FAIL, FAIL and FAIL again and STILL keep your job, soft media, etc...

Yeah it does. Let's hope that Wade changes that mentality and actually tears that page out of the book and blows it up to a poster size to hang it up in our locker room.

What makes you think that Wade will change that mentality though? Throughout his whole career he has been the king of "soft." That's all he was known for in Dallas and many around the organization said that was why Jerry went after him since he was the opposite of The Tuna.
This has very little to do with Wade and more to do with the OL/DL's. They're soft on both sides of the ball.
The offense has been able to overcome this by using a well defined offensive game plan. Hopefully the defense can follow suit. I have my doubts though.

Beat me to it. He is definitely a better D Coordinator than coach but is known as soft. I mean his players in Dallas quit on him and they were soft. He is Gary x 2 when it comes to protecting players and insulating them from anyone saying anything negative about them.

The guys on 610 were just asking him about those comments and he talked about them.
He didn't come on the air and talk smack or anything.
