Its that time of year again- the NFL Draft, where 32 teams attempt to build their future teams to varying degrees of success. An important part of this process is finding contributors (not stars or even starters, just contributors) in the later rounds. While many of these picks play college ball at the highest level, there are some players that slipped through the recruiting ranks and landed at the FCS, D2, D3 or NAIA levels. Still others where dismissed from FBS teams, or transferred in search of playing time. This is my top ten list (except for centers- only top 3 due to extreme lack of talent) of each position.
A couple of disclaimers- since scouting small school prospects is obscure, 2 sites are incredibly valuable in, for lack of a better word, checking my rankings. These sites are jbscouting.com and nfldraftscout.com. While these rankings are useful in finding players to scout, and for comparisons sake, the rankings I am posting are completely my own. Also, you will not find heights and weights in this first set. Between the evidence on film, the measurements found on the aforementioned sites, the measurements reported by various all star games and the measurements reported by the schools themselves, there were just too many discrepancies. I am waiting until Combine and pro day measurements come in, and then I will post them with my new rankings.
I think thats about it. As always, if there are any questions (or suggestions) just let me know and I will be happy to answer them to the best of my abilities.

* Jim Bower may seem like a familiar name. He was on my last years list, as he was a senior last year. I missed the memo that he applied for, and received, an additional year due to medical hardship.
