Good start to it, I'd rather they not get all fancy at the end though, just bang that thing out with some passion and move on.

Cool to hear "For Whom the Bell Tolls" as a pre-kickoff song. Seems like everyone else plays "Crazy Train."
 
Hope Carlson's all right. You hate to see a guy go out on a stretcher.

He's a huge part of their offense.
 
Trufant's injury looked really bad from the way he awkwardly tightened up his arms after the hit. I hope he shakes it off but I have a feeling it's bad.
 
Are the Texans following in the Bears footsteps? Looking at the Bears this season, they saw they had a problem on offense and hired Martz (Texans hired Wade). They needed playmakers and stepped up big in free agency and got Peppers along with other players. McNair has told us that the team needs to make "dractic" changes to the defense, may this include bringing in a Nnamdi Asomugha? Hope so, 'cause the Bears are in the NFC championship.

Peppers sure did make a big difference for the Bears D. We need a couple of guys that can make a big impact for the Texans like Aso, Bailey, or any other big time players we can get.

But, wasn't McNair giddy when Phillips told him that wholesale personnel changes would not be required?

Also, look at the Jets. They squeaked into the 2009 playoffs, but didn't stand pat in the 2010 offseason. They were aggressive in shoring their weaknesses. It's time for McNair and the Texans to realize they aren't "close". Ir's time to be aggressive.

Don't know. Did they have a chance? We have no way of knowing how much his agent looked around. Maybe Peppers just wanted to go to the Bears. It did not take long for him to sign, iirc.

I'd just like to see them throw cash out there for a game changer. Maybe they will this year we'll see.
