Dallas Hater shirts and HTX Gear

HTX Smack Gear

Practice Squad
Hey guys,

I just wanted to say what's up to the boards. We will be posting here a lot going forward.

My friends and I started a new brand called HTX Smack Gear. (www.htxsmackgear.com). An apparel company focused on anti-rivals and pro-hometown swag. Check out our Dallas Hater tees, what a Dallas Fan truly is as well as some Pro-Houston gear. Here is our about for those that care:

HTX Smack Gear was formed by Houstonians for Houstonians. The brand is based on the simple premise of a passion for the home town…coupled with a unified hatred of our beloved sports franchise’s bitter rivals. In the end, we want Houston to be home to the best, and most rabid, fans in the sport’s nation. We are simply trying to do our part.

HTX Smack Gear is dedicated to creating apparel that the Houston fan wants to wear. Whether it’s telling Dallas how much they suck, or reminding Bud how many Superbowls he has not won … any message whether it be anger, joy, social, or cultural will stay relevant, and with the Houston fan squarely in mind.

So anyways you will be hopefully seeing a lot of us around town going forward. We have teamed up with 1560 The Game and will be working hand in hand with them to get the word out. Come say hi at 360 Sports Bar (Washington Corridor) this Thursday, we will be hanging with David and Raheel from 1560!

We normally don't allow advertising in here however if you guys are real Texans fans I personally don't have a problem with it.

Honestly the best way to get the word out here is create a signature graphic promoting what you want to promote and participate in the regular discussions.

BTW, if you guys are going to be selling "hater" gear you do realize that most Texans fans hate the Titans more than the Cowboys right?

Hey man, thanks.

Yeah we are born and rasied here. All our shirts no matter what the say on the front rock our kind of mantra on the back "I AM HOUSTON." To really press the point that H-Town is we we are from.

Being Houston born and raised we are well aware of the Tennessee hatred, the little bio I posted in the body of the text makes that clear I think with the reference to Bud. We will be releasing anti-Titans gear as that gamne approaches.

Anyways, like I said we are working hard with 1560 The Game, indepedant and Houston bred sports talk, to spread the word.

Anyways, we will be posting all the time, thanks!

Very cool. 1560 had contacted us (Texans Talk) a couple of times to come onto one of their shows. However the show was on a Saturday morning and we couldn't provide anyone for that time slot.

Yeah those guys are great. Let's do an event together sometime! We will be following them around like little kids hanging on their coat tails all season!

While I appreciate the effort, really, really, appreciate the effort and will at some point get one of y'alls shirts (because I am a Dallas hater), for now I'm sporting this one:

Thanks guys. What we found is that a lot of the Cowboys or whoever sucks shirts came across as phony, for lack of a better word. People outside of the Houston market place trying to cash in. We wanted to not only rag on the teams we hate, but promote H-Town all day!

ha ha....phony and outside of Houston. Our buddy here Gary Lynn has events to help raise money for Cerebal Palsey research. Maybe you could donate 20 shirts to his cause? You know...give him all the money from the sale of those real shirts?

Not to be a kill joy, but those shirts the 1560 guys are wearing suck. Why would you wanna wear a shirt in Dallas' colors that also has their star on it? It just looks a little too Dallas.

Sorry if I offended just my 2cents

Tried to open it and couldn't but I seriously doubt you could capture the degree of rancor and sheer contempt I hold for that organization on a t-shirt that could be worn in mixed company.
