One thing I loved about the defense today...

After that 73 yard TD, the defense was pissed. Mario and Meco were cussing up a storm. Last year it would have been "ho-hum" even if they were ahead but this year looks different. Different attitude and different looks...

I hope to see that more often through out the year....

They also looked pissed after they were unable to stop them on 4th down.
The intensity the entire game was great!!

i couldnt agree more. i always find myself going back to our opening home game against the eagles a few years back when we played well and then the eagles gained momentum. there was quite literally a physical "here we go again" weight on the stadium ... the game was over at that point. this team doesnt have that, and our defense exemplefies the new attitude. if we keep fighting like we're learning to do and showed today, this underaged team is going to willpower themselves to something us fans have been hoping for for 9 years now.

Mario could barley talk after the game cause he yelled so much. Gotta love it. BTW, did anyone hear Matt Jackson's stupid question and Mario's very funny response in the press conference?

no what was it? Matt Jackson looks like a fat Hobbit...

The Texans ran some three man fronts, and Matt asked if that was a new wrinkle they put in for the Colts. Mario chuckled and said "We've done that before, don't you watch our games?" Matt kind of sputtered, then Mario said, Nah, I'm kidding.

Considering Matt Jackson is a 49ers fan, he probably doesn't watch the games....What a tool...

Yeah, when they showed Mario on the sideline he did not look happy. That is a good thing, a very good thing.

The tool of all tools. Can you imagine a show with him and Josh Innes.......

I liked the attitude we had today, especially on defense. Its time CBS started giving Mario the attention he deserves!

I know our CBs are young but we need to do something about our CBs if we want to compete against pass-heavy teams.

First game so I imagine we will work on pass defense and continuing to pressure the QB. Would've been nice to have Cushing in their today...

Yeah it would have. They played this good without him, just imagine how much better they will be when he returns. :smiliedance:

The thing I like about Cushing is that opposing players HAVE to know where he is. The game against the Raiders, I saw the Raider offensive line pointing fingers and freaking out when they saw him.

Agreed. I like that a lot too:bravo:

Did yall see the touchdown to Reggie Wayne with 5:19 left in the second Qtr?

We rush three men, drop Nadding back into coverage. Mario is a hair away from bull-rushing the RT into Mannings lap, & Okoye makes an excellent move around the LT and is drapped around Manning as he throws the ball.

Manning's just not human, that's all there is to it.

Peyton that is, we'll take all our frustrations out on his little brother in a few weeks.
