Question: Cheapest parking?

Element1337

Waterboy
I'll be going to a select few games, hopefully 3-4 this year and I'll need parking. Are there any options outside of the Reliant Stadium lots? Also, what are the cheapest lots at Reliant? Can I buy them on ticketmaster still?

Thanks!

For stadium parking you need to buy a pass - on here, Ebay, etc.

The hotel across Kirby sells parking on gameday - I think (?) $20/car?

Otherwise, you're on your own - you can always park on Kirby south of 610 and hike it.

Ok, sounds good. The hotel lot should work, but I'll also look into stadium lots.

The cheapest lot is the yellow and maroon as far as cost. If you go to a "normal" game, you can find a parking pass for yellow, maroon, or orange for close to face (in the $20-$30 range). Opening day, Monday night, Dallas,....... well that's another story. LOL

Look here and on craigslist for the cheapest price.

I got a purple lot pass for $25 on the Texans website message board last year for the Pats game, I think that was a good buy. The lot was pretty close.

Ok, I have found some info for you sorry it's eight bucks per car to park plus one dollar to ride just like the bus or you may buy a two dollar pass if you'd like. I know I did not pay but that is because I need disabled parking. Sorry, for the bad info but here is the link if you are interested. 24 hour parking atendents and free trams from your car to the rail station.

Just curious Element, will you be tailgating or meeting others to tailgate?

The reason I ask, is because the cheapest solution is to park at Metro and take the light rail.

METRORail
Houston's light rail system serves Reliant Stadium and we encourage fans to use this option for Texans games. Trains run every 12 minutes and the cost of riding the train is only $1 each way. All trains are accessible and a shuttle will be available to transport disabled guests needing additional assistance from the Fannin light rail stop to a drop off point near the Coca-Cola gate. For complete information on schedules, parking areas and buying tickets, please visit www.ridemetro.org.

I just lol. Did you really have to know about the 24 hour parking atendents? I guess not.

It would cost him ten dollars plus thirty beers, Food, and strippers after the game so he had better starting saving. Just joking.

What about the curb on the apartment side across from the Yellow Lot? Ive seen cars there but I know they're not "tennant only" parking.
