Madden 2011 Overall Team Ratings released

How you go down in ratings from one year to the next when you clearly improved is beyond me. But Madden is crap anyway.

I don't see how we got -4 change...

Maybe because of our schedule? Cause we lost Dunta? Madden is crap anyway, NCAA Football is better.

More realisticly we should be about an 80. How can we be tied with both Denver and Miami? At least they rated us better than the Tits and the Kittens. And what is up with Cincinnati and their rating?!?

Don't these ratings and player ratings get adjusted once actual football is played and they realized they overrated/underrated players/teams?

Hahahahahaha, what a ****ing joke. The other 9-7 teams that missed the playoffs got better rankings.

Steelers, Giants, Falcons scores are 3-6 points higher. Dolphins and 49s have better scores despite having worse records.

Oh also, we had the 3rd biggest drop in rankings, after the Cardinals and the Eagles (but they are still higher, of course!), tied with the Bills for -4.

Seriously, what a load of ****. Our team has the talent of an 85, at least. It's the coaching that makes us perform like a 78. But even last year we performed at more than a 78 level. These Madden people are completely clueless. How do they justify giving the Texans nearly as much of a drop as the Cards and Eagles, more than all other teams? lmao.

I don't know where this site came up with the 2010 numbers. But when Madden 2010 came out in last summer, the Texans had a rating of 75. Considering that the Texans are now a 78, that means that EA sees a +3 improvement from the same time last season.

I'm guessing it has to do with the departure of Dunta. I'm glad to see the Patriots are rightfully dropping in rating.

We have a Pro Bowl mvp QB, a hall of fame WR, 2 Probowl linebackers, we got a soon to be pro bowl SS bernard pollard, one of the best WR corps in the league and we're a 78?

Man my brother in law is gonna be pissed!lol They have the Cards at a 79 -8 from last year...lmao
then they turn around and give the Bears(THE BEARS)A +2 from last year...lol

It's using the rankings from the last 2010 patch. The end of season rankings.

Notice how in your link the Saints had a 74. lol. The point is that from the end of the season until now they decided to drop the Texans 4 points. Makes no sense, since the only player we lost was Dunta. On top of that, their end of the season ratings for Cushing and Pollard were, if I remember correctly, like 84 and 81. Dudes... Cushing deserves AT LEAST a 90, being a pro-bowler, DROTY, and making the freaking ALL PRO team. His performance last year should land him in the range of 92-95, that's all there is to it. Pollard deserves 85ish, at least, no doubt about that. I think Dunta was like an 83 or something, maybe 85. The problem is they have our other CBs with terrible grades, and apparently they are giving Kareem Jackson a bad grade to begin with, even though they usually give 1st rd rookies about 78. Quin and McCain were like 71 and 64 respectively, or something terrible. I think Reeves is like a 68. Oh yeah... on top of all that, I think Zac Diles had a score around 70 or possibly lower, which is bullshit.

The only reason for a 4 point drop that I can think of is if they aren't including Cushing in the starting depth chart that determines the rankings. They also might not have Daniels starting. No Daniels or Cushing would explain the drop.

Bears should be a bit improved from last year. They have added Peppers, and have Urlacher healsty. And added Martz on offense.

The Cards are still going to have a good defense, but with Warner retiring, the offense could see a huge drop off.
