Who got the best value for any given pick in the first round?

Who got the worst value for any given pick in the first round?

Im going with Green Bay and Bryan Bulaga @ # 23 for best value.

Worst value ? I give that to the Jag's @ 10 with Tyson Alualu.

I think you'll have a consensus with this one.

Spot On

We will still be chasing the Colts.

Hughes = Jackson on the value scale.

Smithiak need to have a great day 2 and 4/5th rd of day 3 for this to have been a successful draft. I've got the faith.

I shook hands with the devil tonight.

Thanks BoB LOL

I'll go with Dez Bryant for best value on the Cowboys. Either him or Kyle Wilson where the Jets picked him up.

And for worst value I'd have to say the Jags as well with Tyson Alualu. The Raiders got pretty bad value with that LB as well. I think they could have waited for that guy or tried to trade back.

According to my board, Tim Tebow was the worst pick. Tyson Alualu was the second worst but was 20 spots better than the Tebow pick. Obviously, I had Tebow REALLY low.

The best pick (according to my board) was Brian Bulaga.

Disagree about Bulaga. This guy has bust written all over him. Short arms, average athlete, probably already has reached his ceiling. There is a reason why so many teams passed on him.

Tyson Alualu. that pick was aimed straight at the Texans and their guards. Better wait until we sweep them before you call it a bust.

Worst pick tie between Dez Braynt and Tim Tebow. Gotta give Gerah credit though, he didn't reach for Taylor Mays.

Best Pick(s)- Singletary rebuilding his whole right side of the offensive line in one round. Everything beyond this point is gravy for the 9ers.

well Erick Winston made it with his feet. Maybe Brain can too. I bang no club who builds from the inside out.

ive said it before and il say it again- bulaga's arms are longer than both joe thomas & jake long i.e. the two best young tackles in the game. arm length helps but by no means is the be all & end all

Trying to figure out how this is the worst pick. Almost every expert is grading it an A for talent at the 24 pick. The guy was a top 10 guy that fell into the 20s. When you have teams with talent that are adding more pure talent, it isn't a bad pick.

I think Tyson at 10 was horrible and Tebow to Denver was horrible. I like Wilson to the Jets.

Anyone who says Dez Bryant was a bad pick, let alone the worst pick, is way off. The Cowboys pulled a coup in getting Dez.

I almost wish the Texans had taken him because I thought he was the best player available and will be an exceptional WR in the NFL for years, but I get why they didn't. He's not a high character guy and they aren't willing to take that risk on a position that isn't a high need.

I think the Jags sitting pat and taking Alualu was pretty bad, especially considering the other guys available. But the Broncos trading up to take Demaryius Thomas and Tim Tebow is collectively the worst value IMO. Denver looked smart trading back twice and collecting picks and then they trade back into the 1st twice and walk out of the round with two players that will make zero impact next year. At least Alualu will get on the field.

There were a few "best value" picks. Bulaga to GB was one and Dez to Dallas was another. I also think Seattle did too with Okung at #6 and Earl at #14. Tennessee getting Morgan #16 was another.

I agree. I mean if we had needed a WR then I would have had no reservations about taking him, but seeing as how we had bigger needs I'm glad we passed.

Whatever anyone says, getting Jackson in the 1st was a solid if not sexy pick. We need a CB and he will start. That's what we were looking for wasn't it.

Dan Williams and Kyle Wilson are the two biggest value picks IMO.

Wilson was projected to go late 1st round so I don't see where it was a great value. It was good value, but nothing outstanding.

I don't get the big deal about Williams. He was projected high because he was the top NT, but it's not like he was an uber-prospect. His film is lackluster.

Dez is dumber than a box of rocks. I am not sure he will get far in the NFL with this child like mind.

Worst Value: Alualu. Tebow. D. Thomas.

Best Value: Okung. Bryant. Robinson.
