Thanks for your support!
If they release him or for a late rounder I would bring him in at least for camp because you never know what a change might do for any player.
By no means would I trade away a top pick for him but it just depends.I'd give a 6th or 7th rounder for him. I'd rather we draft a good RB on Friday night though. Thursday night I want a DB.

I might've given the big dump I took this mornin for him......nah
I remember a thread on White being shopped a month or 2 back. Must not have been any good offers yet or not to many teams interested.
That whole thread was based on a hypothetical statement by ESPN Insider that the Tacks may not need White, considering Johnson's success........and the Texans could use an RB like White. There was never more presented than that.
Why do you feel this way?
White is a good short yardage RB. If he was on the Texans last year they probably would've won 2/3 more games.
FWIW in 4 seasons in the league White has scored 24 touchdowns, that is more than any Texans RB has ever had in there Career.
White can find the endzone, that is proven fact. He did in college, he did it in the pros he could do it for us.
Well that is slighting Domanick Davis by more than a little. DD had 23 rushing TDs in 3 seasons plus another 5 through the air where White has none.

Not really, DD/DW was a good back but if you want a goal-line/short yardage runner it isn't close.
He probably was still slow as hell even with the weight loss.
BTW you beat me by a minute @_@
You're saying he had a run-in with Pete Carroll possibly? That would be monumentally stupid if that's the case.
Update at 1:41 p.m.: White will be released from Seattle. The reason for his release comes as the team decided that the level of commitment wasn't there.
Now, there are several reasons the decision is significant. This was a player Carroll had history with, having coached him at USC. This is also someone whose commitment was a question in his time at Tennessee.
Would be pretty funny after everything he ended up back in Tenn.
That's a pretty hard slap in the face right there! When your old college coach cuts you before you've taken a snap for a team that just traded for you....yeah you're done.

Given that he was acquired via trade, I would hope not.Did he get any sort of signing bonus money from the Seahawks? I wouldn't put it past a college coach to give a little "thank you" money to a player...
White was a restricted FA. So no signing bonus.Did he get any sort of signing bonus money from the Seahawks? I wouldn't put it past a college coach to give a little "thank you" money to a player...

Who did Tennessee get for him?
Where are the "we need a big back" fans now?
White had lost more than 45 pounds last year, saying that when he stopped drinking tequila the pounds starting falling off. He was down to 220.
