CJ Talking junk

I would be a dick of a reporter and ask him about his nervous twitch he's got going on. Either he's saying "wassup" to everyone or there is some physiological issue.

Is it bad that I can't wait for his star to fade and the Titans run him into the ground with too many carries and he breaks down from injuries and ends up smoking crack under a bridge in Nashville?

they must have had a publicist talk for him.. no way he said that many "quality" words in one interview
:shades:

Typical rhetoric from BA.

The guy had great games against the league. Nobody ever said he sucked. He's just an arrogant, twitchy ass dude that looks like a jamaican drug dealer.

What is it? The gold teeth? The inaudible use of English? Sheesh talk about stereotyping! :shades:

(btw, am kidding)

:) I'd be arrogant too if I'd come from where he's been.

I don't see it as talking junk, just seizing the moment. I think he's the same personality as Chad Johnson. Not really talking smack but having fun, and in turn making a fool of himself

It could be, but I think that CJ takes himself serious and really thinks that way.

Eh, don't want to be "that fan" to come to the guy's defense but everyone I know who has dealt with him in an informal setting had nothing but the nicest things to say about him. They say he comes off a a genuinely nice guy. No one has used an word implying arrogance or the like. Fact is he is an overnight sensation, getting incredible amounts of attention. I really think he's just living it up.

You guys seem to pick the better people of the organization to focus on: Finnegan, KVB and now Johnson. I'll join in with you on LenDale, though. :)

He broke off two pretty solid games on you last year.

The second game was an all around solid game, the first was a few huge plays. He had 150 yards on 2 carries, and the rest of the game we stopped him fairly well. I don't think his numbers look quiet so gaudy.

Lol. I didn't know they were showing the Homer episode today.

Chris Johnson totalled 284 yards from scrimmage. 197 rushing and 87 receiving. Take away his two best plays... 91 yarder and 61 yarder....284-152=132. I'd give ANYTHING if we could get that kind of production out of our RB.

Silly. Give credit where its due. Chris Johnson did not trample just us. He stampeded everybody else.... tic and all.

I gave credit for the second game, and he is the best RB in the NFL, but the first game we played them last year was over inflated by stupid mistakes on our part. We didn't cover him one time. That was 50 yards recieving. He had 152 of 197 yards on 2 carries, he did jack **** outside of that. I remember he could barley get back to the LOS. I'm not crazy or a homer, we didn't play as bad as the 283 yards show.

3 TDs of over 57 yards each in one game. Right. We didn't look as bad as it seemed. He just got lucky. Like he got lucky rolling off an 89 yarder off Jacksonville. The 85 yarder against the Cardinals was a fluke just the same as his 66 yard reception against the lowly Rams. Let alone his 51, 66, and 57 yarders last season.

C'mon man. Give credit where its due. Miss a tackle and this guy is roadrunner gone. That's all there is it to.

Yep and Micheal Jordan was an ok basketball player other then a few dramatic plays. It is always fun when people excuse out great plays by great players.

Well if our D did X or we were out of position.

Great players make great plays and have great games. Do not discount his play by blaming others mistakes. Usually players make mistakes because the person holding the ball makes them make mistakes.

Honestly rewatch the highlights .... the only one that was really kind of fluky was the TD rec. The 57 yard TD he basically just out runs your S to the end zone. Your safety had a 15 yard head start but still just toast. The second rushing TD he had to cut at least 3 times and still broke it off.

He could wear a drool cup and speak a language he made up all on his own as far as I am concerned. He puts up numbers like that and it is all good.

I'm not as read on CJ as you Titan fans, but that seems to be my impression as well. He seems to just be a bit of a goof having some fun. I don't see any arrogance or ill intentions in anything he says.

How much more credit can I give than calling a guy the best at his position in the NFL? I am giving him credit, I just remember that game vividly and he didn't play as well in that game as he did in the second game vs us. He truthfully had 3 plays. Thats it. Call me whatever and say what you will, but thats how I see that game. And Im not lying, he is the best in the NFL. But, numbers tell the whole story, so I am sorry.

I would take a dumbass who is a great player any day of the week. I think we missed assignments that gave him a foot race vs a random white safty. I think we bput 10 people on the LOS on 3rd and 26. Those are dumb mistakes that a great back exploits. However, he did get swarmed in that game. The D didn't play as bad as you would think when a guy has 190 rush yards. that is what I am saying. He had a better overall game in the Monday Night game. His numbers werent gaudy, but we didn't run stupid fronts annd forget to cover him. That's all I'm saying. Call me an I-D-I-O-T or a homer all you want. It's cool.

When did I call you an ***** or a homer? All I said was watch the hightlights again. Even his big plays he found holes and exploited them. If CJ gets in a foot race with a defended my money is on CJ.

Oh, I agree. The ***** part was an in general, not specific to you. I like CJ's odds in a footrace with anyone not named Bolt. He exploited holes and ran well on those plays, and at other times, but our D also smothered him on a fair number of runs. That's ll I'm saying. He ran better in his game with the less gaudy numbers. IMO.

2k yards rushing in his 2nd season, the guy can say anything he wants. But he's wrong about noone having done what he's done in his 1st 2 seasons. One mr. erik dickerson might have something to say about that.

A twitch is nothing to poke fun at the guy for. It doesn't seem to be stopping him from twitching and scaring the daylights out of most of the opposition.

What a hater! He is a titan and he and Vince scare me everytime they touch the ball and thats 90% of the time.

I don't really like cocky crackheads so not the guy for me.
:roast:

Do you know how stupid you sound? The guy is now a crackhead? If CJ was a Texan you would already have his Jersey and be at the draft day party standing in a long line begging to have it signed by the "crackhead".

CJ is a great player but it helps that he has the IQ Kid at QB. With Youngs inability to be a real QB the ICOUs entire offense is build aroung running the ball. Sure that means other team key on their running game, but their running game works real well.

they said on NFL network that CJ was a no show and more than likely it is about money (he has 3 years left on his contract)
