We are occasionally accused at PFT of making a big deal out of nothing.

With that in mind, here's a quote from Titans coach Jeff Fisher talking about this week's game against the Chargers that we don't think is a very big deal.

"We've had some great battles, great matchups, and didn't wind up on the winning side of any of them," Fisher said to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "... But I know there are some other teams I've heard of that don't particularly care for the Chargers. Maybe it's them."

Fisher, 0-5 against the Chargers, has been accused by San Diego players of instilling a physical/dirty mentality in his teams. The Chargers have occasionally been accused of the same thing. Like by Fisher, yesterday.

So there you go: Another pregame trash talk quote that adds spice to Friday's Titans-Chargers game. NFL Network should feel free to use the dig to promote the game.

Rarely do you see coaches give the opposing team bulletin board material. Sounds like he's just sour over his 0-5 record. The Chargers see what everyone else sees though, that Fish instills a dirty mentality in his players. Can't wait for the Chargers to bomb all over that god-awful secondary.
 
If anyone watched the Chargers/Titans game from last year would know to definitley tune and and get your popcorn ready.

It was like the Texans @ Titans game X 3. There will be fights and dirty plays.
 
I won't be watching. The only time I watch the Titans is when they play US.

I mean...

should be a fairly good game to watch from an explosive play standpoint...the titans can't do much against SD's passing attack (especially with Bullock & Fuller gone for season) & SD will have problems stopping CJ/run game.

38 - 24 chargers with VY & the tities padding stats at the end to make it appear closer than it really was.
 
Titans D is hurting bad, so CJ and Vince had better play lights out to have a shot at this game.

Win or lose, at least the Titans knocked the Texans out of the Playoffs, so we fans will have that to hang our hats on. :fingergun:

That & the fact that our comeback win against them pretty much killed any chance of them getting to the playoffs this year as well. Had they closed that game out like they should've, they'd be at the front of the pack for the wildcard instead of the back..

A historic "blip" I suppose, the 59-point margin matched the largest since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, the Los Angeles Rams’ 59-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons in 1976.

Why are you here? Our teams hate each other, will you atleast concede the Texans have a superior fan community? Otherwise you wouldn't be here.
 
this ought to be a great game. No love lost, playoff implications...gonna be a good one.
 
The Boltz pretty much stomped them. Not anywhere near as good a game as I thought it might be. The Boltz will be tough in the play offs.

Well I'm sure it's nice and cozy with you guys keeping it warm, eh? How about all those "winning their Super Bowl" statements coming back at you for a change? Apparently we can't beat you with it being our Super Bowl (even though that statement is one that solely would belong to Colts fans in the event that we beat them), yet your team comes out with statements that obviously show that you're looking at it as if it is your Super Bowl...and that's a ridiculous statement?
