Their annual December swoon, down 14 after Giants punt return for a TD. Looking like a loss against a team that hasn't been playing well and the schedule only gets nastier.
Hold the phone ... Dallas just scored
Who gives a crap about the Cowboys. Every time you hate on them all you are doing is putting them on a pedestal. Out of sight out of mind. I mean at least the Dallas/Houston angle has play in the NBA where the Rockets and Mavericks are in the same division and regularly compete against each other. I will never understand the Cowboy obsession on this board.

Well, don't visit the thread then. Simple as that. I can explain my hatred of the Cowboys, not sure what everybody else's are. Growing up in Houston, being an Oilers fan, I didn't quite understand how tons of people were Cowboy fans and not fans of their hometown team. So my disdain grew from there. Also, the arrogance of a lot of those same fans, like it was their God given right to win super bowls. I work with a lot of these same type fans, and I'm in New Mexico for God's sake!
cowboys lose again!
but it would'nt surprise me if they go to the superdome and give the saints a loss

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)-Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware(notes) sprained his neck when he slammed headfirst into a San Diego Chargers lineman Sunday.
Ware was immobilized on a stretcher, carted off the field and taken to the hospital for X-rays and further evaluation.
The Cowboys, who provided the diagnosis of a sprained neck, also said Ware was “aware and alert with full movement and strength in his extremities.”
Ware was pursing quarterback Philip Rivers(notes) early in the fourth quarter Sunday when he collided into Brandyn Dombrowski(notes). Ware’s head went straight into Dombrowski’s upper leg, then Ware remained on the ground.
Ware was tended to on the field by medical personnel, who stabilized the three-time Pro Bowl linebacker before putting him on the stretcher and then a motorized cart. Teammates Marcus Spears(notes) and Terence Newman(notes) went over to Ware and spoke to the linebacker while he was being loaded onto a cart.
Owner Jerry Jones was shown on TV in his box with his face buried in his hands as Ware was being worked on
that tremendous sucking sound you hear to the north, is the football team in the Jerry Land stinking up December yet again.
nice homecoming for LT, and Rivers looked All-Pro today.
Romo had a better day than Rivers.
romo had a better day than rivers.
win > loss
Doesn't change the fact that Romo had a better day than Rivers. I guess Schaub sucks then, huh?
Although 20 points doesn't seem like much its the Defense the last 2 years that has let us down. Romo has played well the last two games. The Defense gives scores right back though, especially some 3rd and longs where they gave guys too much cushion. All they needed was 2 more wins. I also think that whenthey couldn't punch it in from the 1 was weak. Mix up the play calls. It was pathetic
Of course, as I said earlier, I expect this here when they lose. I could hear crickets when they were 8-3.Oh well. Hopefully, if anything comes out of this...Wade goes. The seem just seems unprepared at times

Don't know if you missed the sign on the door when you came in, but this is a Houston Texans message board. Doubt you're going to find too many Cowboy sympathizers anytime before their December Suck begins.

I don't care what forum I'm in. When they were winning, the Cowboy fans here didn't say a word in the NFL FORUM. Just how we work. Probably because we know that it is a long season and that this stuff happens. Realistic. I just made an observation. Giddy school children when they lose. I'm realistic about my team so I don't try and sugar coat it. They have issues and hopefully they will be resolved...i.e. Wade gone.
I don't think Wade called the 4 consecutive running plays from the 2 yard line that resulted in zero points. That bit of ineptitude falls on the o-coordinator and that o-line.
"giddy school children"...wow. I wasn't giddy beforehand, but when a 'boys fan begins name calling, it certainly is easier to find a bit of sunshine when your team loses. I don't have an axe to grind against that team as much as I do the always arrogant fans and pretentious owner. Your post seems to validate my beliefs.
Get over yourself. Your not exactly a Texans fan that shows what most fo the good ones are like.

Well at least you guys have an owner that will pull the trigger on an under achieving coach, and I'm not even sure that Wade is an under achieving coach, but he certainly doesn't look like the kind of guy that can get this particular Cowboys team into a SB. He is good enough to get them into the post season though. Jerry won't accept that though. He knows that he can find someone better. I may bag on Jerry a lot, but Jerry at least is passionate enough to pull the plug on a bad product before it becomes completely out of order.
And this is what I've said in the Kubiak threads...."what is your goal as a team?" In the Cowboys case, and Jerry is at fault for the hires and other things, its the playoffs and SB. Nothing else is ok. .500 and looking good at times doesn't work. When the talent is there and there is "something" missing, he expects more and will try and correct it. Now, he still has to let a guy coach, etc but I do agree that he has a higher standard and won't stand for what is going on. They might not have SB talent, but they have enough to do alot more than what has happened lately.
I won't celebrate until they're OFFICIALLY eliminated.
they picked a good game to stop their December woes
That was a good game...Ware is THE man!
