Good Luck Kubiak NEXT Year

You guys are rough.......

You don't care we were missing all or part of the game the STARTING QB, RB, TE, G, G, S, CB.....

Who is he supposed to be coaching up exactly?

How many games have we lost by less than 7 points?

If we are close enough to lose then we are close enough to win!

Why exactly are you keeping to post the same thing over and over again? Kubiak ought to be history as our HC.

I'm sorry man but this is a pathetic thread. You're an excuse factory for a regime that's failed. Get past it and hold the team accountable. The Texans, without all those players took the ball down to the goal line and then the coaches called a halfback pass. That's a lousy call and then expected a journeyman free agent the Titans gave up on three years ago to execute it, WHEN THEY WERE RUNNING THE BALL EFFECTIVELY!

David Anderson has to catch that ball that he instead popped up into the air and gave to a Jaguars player for a Schaub interception. He has to catch that pass. Not having Owen Daniels there or any of the other players you mention had nothing to do with his lousy play. Last week Joseph Addai got the **** smacked out of him by Dunta Robinson (resulting in celebrate-gate here in Houston) but he held on to the ball. That's the difference between them and us in a nutshell.

We could have won this game but the players didn't execute (responsibility to get them ready and/or get players who can execute up to coaches and front office: result FAIL) and the coaches called a lousy game (coaching result: FAIL).

Stop apologizing for them, they stink.

All your opinions and rightfully so. I don't have the time or energy to try and get you back to reality

Yes, good luck next year being someone else's offensive coordinator, you are a good guy, just not the HC we need.

Agreed. I like Kubiak as a person and I wish him well with whatever he ends up doing, I just don't believe that he has what it takes to be our head coach right now (unless we are satisfied with 8-8).

There are other teams playing while missing this one or that one and still win i.e. Philly so don't give me this garbage. Ok?

I like kubiak and was on the one more year train. He dug his own grave today. Totally inexcusable. He set up chris brown to fail. I remember when jax was our *****. They swept us today and the red jerseys at home didn't help.

I am thinking a lot of Jotto's post are just to see what kind of reaction he/she can get .. esp with some of the posts in the game day threads

Next year elsewhere.

IMO the half back pass sealed his fate.

Yeah, that call pretty much shifted me off the fence. Even if it works out that is not a smart call.

I'm not running around sporting wood like some of the pink soap crowd, but he's lost my confidence. Losing when you're down a QB, RB, TE, LG, RG, CB, and FS is one thing. Blowing a chance to win because you wanted to be stupid is another.

Good to hear from you Wolf how's K-Ville?

i have heard some not so good things about Peterson from some friends, it might have been a wise choice

well if you say this thread is pathetic i guess it is

we werent running the ball very well. it was a gutsy call that backfired and now looks stupid but the almighty colts did the same thing in the first game against us. and because addai makes one great play, thats becomes the norm? why dont you take your own advice and add some realism into your expectations (since you seem to hand out that same message to others frequently). DA has made plenty of tough grabs in traffic and get banged and held on.

when you're starters go down, the backups get more looks but they're backups for a reason- some come through but most if not all make mistakes since they're human after all... and young players ALWAYS ALWAYS make more mistakes. its alot easier to vent and burn the whole thing down after the last couple weeks. i hope (and believe) mcnair has a cooler head & thats why he is where he is. i hope he doesnt go dan snyder and gives kubiak the extra year bud was smart enough to give fisher

im not apologising for them either but i understand

Kubiak if knowingly about the HB Pass playcall in my opinion put his Texan career on the line with that play.

We score he's a hero!

We throw an INT he's looking for a job!

Tough Business Decision

Ummm the the guys he assembled for his roster?

Make no mistake this is Kubiak's roster top to bottom and the coaching staff he wanted.

I was on this boat before today. Lord knows I irritated my fair share of
board members this week. But I had to open that bar of soap after this
playcall:

The offense was on a DRIVE. The defense made its stops. And we NEEDED
seven. Somehow, Kubiak ALLOWS this play to enter Schaub's headset!!??

I'm done with Kubes. The players on this staff deserves better. As a caller
said on 610... "Kubiak should have to get HIS OWN ticket back to Houston."
Jacoby Jones missed a meeting. Maybe HE knew how shitty the gameplan
was. I was going to hold my bar of soap 'till the end of the season, but
a loss to Jacksonville effectively removed all tiebreakers to any team in
our division, and the rest of the AFC.

Another crosses over to the dark side. Sooner or later your pink soap will go up.

They are falling like flies.

Anyone remember the Seinfeld episode where George realizes that every instinct he has is wrong and therefore does the opposite? Imagine if Gary had this epiphany a few games ago. We could quite possibly be a powerhouse.

Good episode. I keep thinking of the scene in the movie Serenity where the Operative says:
"You know, in certain older civilized cultures when men failed as entirely as you have, they would throw themselves on their swords."
Yes, I'm a scifi geek, I can't help myself.

I think that Kubiak probably has sealed his own fate. He had a chance to prove that he could win and he's blown those chances. There's a lot of blame to be distributed. The player's should be held accountable as much as the coach, but Kubiak has consistently proven he can't manage the clock and can't prepare his team for games.

For the record, I think the Chris Brown pass wasn't a bad play call. The timing was awful though. And of all people to give the ball to, why Chris Brown. He's clearly not the guy to carry off that play. I think that Kubes calls the right plays, just not at the right time and not with the right personnel.

I personally hated that play call from the beginning but I'll play along a bit. Last year when Sage had the disastrous Rosencopter episode I actually liked the play call. I know a lot of people hated it, I wasn't one of them. So then the question becomes why do our players take plays that have the potential to be either successful or at least not a complete circus and turn them into dog poo on a consistent basis? Sage and Chris are different players yet the result is the same, gotta be the coaching.

Here is another example of why Kubiak needs to go:

Right now we are actually outscoring our opponents 277-266 on the season. Most teams with that kind of ratio are either .500 or better, obviously.

The team we played today is being outscored 273-225 on the season yet they are 7-5 and in the drivers seat for a WC berth.

This isn't an exact science but I believe it is a pretty decent indicator that we are being routinely outcoached and outplayed in crunch time.

That's a dagger, what's our 4th scoring vs oppenents if you don't mind
