While I hope both of them will be re-signed, I'm pretty much expecting that neither will be. If I understand the uncapped year correctly, the time limit to become an unrestricted free agent goes up to something like 6 years, meaning that both Daniels and Ryans will be considered RFAs next year. So, the Texans can force them to play for cheap, just like with Daniels this year. I get the impression that the Texans FO is pretty tough in their negotiations, and I expect they're going to take full advantage of this to drive a hard bargain (in fact, I expect that this was part of why Ryans and Daniels were doing their mini-holdouts earlier). I don't think that Ryans and Daniels are likely to settle for a low offer (after all, they're both pro-bowlers), and so I expect a stalemate to ensue, that ends up with them getting RFA offers next year.
I hope I'm wrong, though.
