Just looking up some info on this guy and he sounds like quite the athlete.

His bio says he is an excellent leaper with remarkable speed. Given his height 6-4 he could become a useful redzone target in time with jumpballs and fades.

He must be a natural athlete as he was also drafted by the Yankees after a good college baseball career.

I'm keen to see what he can produce in Camp and the preseason....

hmmmm.... can he return punts?

My english teacher in high school taught Slim Thug. He's apparently really smart and a good writer. I didn't have him penned as a Shakespeare fan.

Mike Jones went to my high school and was a year under me. He was the QB from the time he was a Sophmore I believe. He's tall, skinny, and fast. He's also a good character type. He was going to play baseball but changed his mind at the last minute or something it sounds like.

There is very little info out there about Jone past the link in the initial post.
My main concer with with his height/weight ratio was how physical could he
be. I was pleasantly surprised by this find:

Q: Wide receivers Chris McGaha and Michael Jones combined for close to 1,600 yards receiving last season, making them the top returning tandem in terms of yardage in the Pac-10. Is this the best receiving tandem in the country for 2008?

A: Best in the Pac-10 probably, nationwide definitely in the top 10. Jones, who also plays centerfield for the Arizona State baseball team, is a heady and physical receiver that more often than not outmuscles his defenders.
If you need a first down in a passing situation, McGaha is your receiver. He’s extremely sure-handed, deceptively fast, and has a knack for making acrobatic catches. He was front and center on the team’s 2007 highlight reel.

At first I thought you were talking about the rapper but then I remembered this thread was about the football player...
