Chargers @ Steelers

It is colder today here than the last two days in Pittsburgh and the wind has picked up, 10-15 mph. Steelers fans were pumped up about the Ravens winning yesterday. I will be behind the Chargers bench wearing a Texans beanie.

That punt return was ridiculous.

Kudos to Holmes, but I see better tackling in high school games than those lame attempts.

Came up just for the game with two friends from Vegas. I love the football experience up here.

The best football watching experience in the league. Family Season ticket holders for 37 years. Never missed a game from birth, until moving to Houston in 2004!. Pittsburgh is my 2nd favorite team behind Houston! GO PGH. REPRESENT THE BEST FOOTBALL CITY IN THE WORLD!

I hate the Steelers almost as much as I hate the Titans.

Your own opinion, but why? I don't like Tennessee either, but that's due to VY and all the over-hyped support in the city for him. And the way our own fans turned away from the Texans, whenever the dude comes to town...

So do I, but I hate Steelers fans more.

Same here! Only time I pull for the Steelers is when they play the Titans or Cowboys, just can't make myself do it. I'm pulling for the Ravens to win the AFC, so I really don't care who wins this game. I just want it to be their last.

Funny. Growing up in Pgh I never thought about how other city's may feel about my respective team of choice, due to the intense rivalry. We just always won. Whether it was a clearcut win, or faulty officiating (pgh/Hou game). Now, with me being a Texan fan, and the team never having a strong rivalry with the traditional Houstson Oiler teams leaving, it doesn't bother me. Teams that bother me list includes: TENNESSEE, Jacksonville, DALLAS (carry over from PGH DAYS!):fans::fans:

Wow, what a play there by SD. If it holds up, that could be one of the greatest catches I've seen in a long time. If Rivers had taken just a little off, that woul dhave been a guaranteed TD

I think this game is over. I don't pretend to know football more than people who get paid to coach it but why would Ron Rivera keep sending only four rushers when Ben is getting like 5 seconds to throw the ball. I think any QB in the NFl will pretty much carve up any defense with 5 seconds to thow the ball. But I guess Rivera doesn't believe in the Blitz.

He wants Ben to beat them! Not the most accurate QB in the league, and makes many mistakes trying to take the game into his hands. This game has really been won by the offensive line. Had to run the ball to win, and they have. Gameball to the O-line!

Sounds like Richard Smith.

I think even David Carr can complete passes with 5 seconds. I think maybe blitzing and changing it up a little would throw off ben. But hey, what do I know....

I think your right. Bad choice. I would blitz all day. That would force Ben to try to make even more plays. They have a pretty good secondary too!:doot:

So, if Pitt holds on, I'm thinking a Steelers v. Zona Superbowl.

I hope Arizona makes it. I'm always down for a Cinderella story, it makes for good TV. Old ass Kurt Warner(AKA Billy Bob Thornton) taking another team to the Superbowl.

Here are my pics and videos from my experience at the game

Couple of thoughts:
- the fans were very loud, even when the Steelers were on offense.
- the guy in back of me asked to me sit down repeatedly when I was standing up rooting on his defense on 3rd downs.
- I love cold weather games.

If he was asking you to sit down, it was one of two things......Either he was no true Steeler fan, or an older fan, with many years of stadium experience and section prestige.
