Baltimore will beat the Titans, because...

e) Ray Lewis can smell Kerry Collins fear all the way from Miami. In fact he thought he picked up the scent of it on the flight down there from Baltimore.

g) The act of stomping on a Terrible Towel will be played on a projection screen in the defensive team's meetings, and will be used as motivation for a defense that will NOT hesitate to get their rage on against the Titans.

This was THE worst matchup for the Titans. With the way the Ravens' defense was ball-hawking this weekend, and the way the Ravens' running game is clicking by breaking long runs for TDs...man, oh man, it's going to be a beatdown in my opinion. And it'll be in the Titans' house.

I knew there would be a thread about this. LOL. Just knew it.

I wonder if Bud is having his skull rug ran through the dry cleaners in preparation for the big playoff game?

h) Bud was defecated upon this earth by Satan himself. Bud does not deserve any success.

I have a feeling we will make it around the alphabet a couple of times once the game comes around. With that being said most of the Tit-fans can barely make it past the letter "buh-buh-buh beee"

In all seriousness, the Ravens will beat the Titans and not just b/c I loath them. The Ravens are a better team defensively and offensively.

And of course the X factor, Uncle Ray Ray.

This is going to be a good low scoring game. But in the end, Collins is not a clutch player and if the game comes down to him needing to make a big play to win, he will choke.

Kerry Collins has run into Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens defense before in a "playoff game". I believe it was called "Super Bowl XXXV" at the time. The Giants sported a two-headed running attack with a quick guy and a big fat guy which sounds awfully familiar.

Collins response to the pressure that Baltimore's defense brought was to throw 4 picks, get sacked four times, and end the day 15 of 39 for a whopping 112 yards. The Giants offense failed to put a single point on the board

Clearly this is not the guy you want leading your offense into the post season.

Ravens win it, because the ridge running, stump jumping nose pickers from possum hollow haven't really got a passing game and the Ravens will stuff their run game. Top level defense stuffs a mediocre offense every time and the Ravens offense is just good enough to score some points on the Tacks defense.

It should be a pretty close game, imo.

The Titans have a pretty decent run defense, and the Ravens don't have a very impressive passing game

The Ravens have a ballhawking, turnover machine for a defensive unit, while the Titans are marching out Kerry Collins as a QB

I have a feeling we could see more defensive TDs than offensive ones next week

But we gave up few points and beat them at home. Keep hoping though.

Sad that all Texans fans have is trying to put down another team.

Says the guy who's typical response to the Texans is "they've never had a :blah: :blah: :blah: " in order to make himself feel better about his second rate poorly owned operation.

Ray Lewis is the only man that Chuck Norris fears.

That's rich coming from someone with nothing better to do than troll a Texans message board. Seriously, if your team has so much going on that the Texans and their "sad" fans are beneath your notice then why aren't you on a Ravens message board telling them how it's going to be when your Titans have their way with their team next weekend?

It speaks volumes to the mentality of Titans fans.

If the Texans are as you describe them then what does that say for the troll who devotes so many posts and so many years to trying to annoy them?

I won't bother posting on this thread other than saying this...

Whatever the under is, bet the under. :bat:

k.) Derrick Mason and Samari Rolle would love nothing better than to stick it to the team that gave up on them

Who says I am not on the Ravens board? Been a member for longer then I have been on this board. I am able to multi task. :smiliedance:

Please place a letter before your reason.

I'm only saying this because it is fun to confuse the Tit-fans. They're alphabet reads: a, b, q, a, f, t, e, z

In other words you have no life and it sucks so bad that you spend all your time going from message board to message board talking **** to make yourself feel better.

Not all of us have to live our seasons through hatred of the Titans.

I think this will be a fantastic game that I can't wait to watch. The Titans have a defense that is just as good or maybe better. I trust the rookie in Flacco more than I do in Collins though. I've said all season long that the Titans will lose in the playoffs, just because when the post season intensity heats up, I just don't see Collins being able to make the plays against defenses like the Ravens or the Steelers. However though, if their running game is clicking well enough, they might not need Collins to do a whole lot. That is the key for the Titans.

I'm not going to sleep on what the Titans D might be able to do to the Ravens either though. The Titans are one of the highest scoring defenses in the league all season and they force TO's just about as well as the Ravens do with that monsterish O line, and Griffin, Pope, and their CB's.

This should be one hell of a game to watch though. I'll be rooting for the Ravens though.

L) Kerry Collins...under pressure...ALL DAY LONG. (and if HE gets hurt, the show gets even funnier)

I will NOT watch the game, but, I sure as hell will be hoping the Raven's pull this one off. GOOD LUCK to the black birds!!!!!

Flacco would be the second rookie QB to win a road playoff game. Him being the first yesterday. I like our chances with a rested Haynsworth.

Collins had an 80 yard drive to win the game when we met in Baltimore this season. If our run game can show some life I like our chances. Collins also torched the Steelers in week 16 and the middle of the Steelers O-line is going to have a tough day against Haynsworth if we end up playing them.

I think you meant Hope but I don't see Flacco doing much against us in the air. We have not had much difficulty stopping the run this season. Though the Ravens have a decent run game; there style is more of a power game which our D matches up well against. I am a little nervous about Mason and Heap. Mason can make space when it seems like there is none and likes to drop into the soft parts of zones which has hurt us in the past. TE's over the middle have stung us a few times which I hope our D adjusts for.

Its a big game and should be fun to watch. Lets just hope someone pats down Ray-Ray before he enters the stadium.

P.) Fisher likes Seasame Street so much he can not coach against Bert.

Which would have fizzled as a 3 and out but for a roughing the passer call on Suggs. Not saying the penalty wasn't deserved (seems like there was some question but I don't remember it clearly), but Collins got two bites at that apple. That's part of the NFL though and Collins did get it done.

Yeah Collins can surprise people every now and then. I'm not saying that he can't make those tough drives when it counts, because he has proven that he can. I just don't have confidence that HE WILL in the playoffs against a great D like Baltimore or Pitt. Doing it in the season is one thing, in the playoffs is a whole different deal. He doesn't have good WR's either which makes it more difficult. Gage can make some Clutch plays here and there but he still Gage and doesn't scare anyone. And don't get me wrong, it is hard to imagine Flacco making those clutch plays against the Titans D as well.

The key to this game though will be who stops the run on both sides. These are both power running teams and both are GREAT at stopping the run. So which ever team controls it up front will win this game since they both have the same formula for winning.

One thing I forgot and many others have as well is that the Ravens and Titans have had some great playoff match ups in the past and this should be another one of them. I'll never forget that great game by Ray Lewis where he destroyed them years ago and punked George all over the field that year.

Then it was like two after where the Ravens played them again and George finally stood up to Ray and had a really BIG game and the Titans pulled it out. This will be a great match up.

Bogus call. Suggs hit Collins on the shoulder and the ref called him for a blow to the head personal foul.

R) Fisher and his porn-stach will be on the cover of his new porno release "VY Does the Frat House".

I think the Ravens will win because of the improvement in Flacco since the last time the two teams played.

I think the Ravens win a close one. But I'm hoping the Titans make it to the superbowl and lose.
