Anyone watch the New Mexico Bowl? If you did you seen Colorado State's Gartrell Johnson rb run wild (285 yds rushing 90 yds recieving) over Fresno State. Link Wow this guy looked perfect for what we need. I know it was Fresno st but @ 5-11, 235 #'s Johnson looks like a Marion Barber clone. He is a load and likes contact. A real pile mover who makes yards after contact. Could be a nice complement to Slaton.

Doesnt Kubiack or Smith have some ties with Colorado State? Holy crap I just looked and I didnt realize we had 5 players from there.

If he's from Colorado State, We're getting him. Kubiak's son or sons go there, so they have the inside scoop. He's got a soft spot for that school.

Yup being from CO-State is the tickett to getting drafted by the Texans
with Kubiak at the helm, though I gotta admit one or 2 of them have turned out OK.
 
Yeah I watched some of the game on the late night showing on ESPN. Looked pretty good.

To the guy who was talking about him starting: we don't need another starter; we have Stevo for that. All we need is someone to take 5-10 snaps a game to give Slaton a breather and to move the pile. I still am hoping we lean towards Andre Brown from NC State. The guy is a beast and has some pretty shifty feet.
