When I read this title I thought it was a preemptive appeal to all Texan fans not to "jump" Sage when he returns to Houston after blowing another game, hah.
 
I don't think I've ever seen a QB play worse under pressure than Sage Rosenfels this season.

This is the 3rd game he has ended with a INT or sack instead of the game winning drive.

Wow. No one was even in the general area of that throw
 
Sage is the most un-clutch QB I've ever seen in my life. I'm waiting for the response by the Sage's nut huggers... if there is any left. Is it safe to say these fans are extinct?
 
Is anyone really surprised? I imagined a turnover either on a Freeney sack and strip or a play exactly like that one. We had the formula today with the running game but our defense was so pathetic they took it away in the end.
 
I have a feeling he is still going to be here till the end of the season along with Smith unless McNair fires/cuts both of them
 
Eh, if we had Schaub in there he would have been lying on the turf crying after getting sacked and Sage would be in there anyways:fans:

We still wouldn't be that good, our defense is horrible and we don't face the Colts run D every week. We would be better for sure though.
 
Mind you the first thing I said when a colt came up with the ball was "Damn it Dewey!" but think about something. Who the hell was supposed to block Feeny on the previous play? Sorry if you're big 300 pound guy whose job is to be "an obstacle" and you can't even be an effective one of those...then look for new work. I'm not giving Sage the exclusive blame on this one. The defense made a few errors that contributed to this as well. There's plenty of blame to go around.
 
I thought Sage was the guy who should be the Texans qb. Where are all the Rosencopter lovers now. Another game where we had a chance thrown away with a pick.

He still did a damn sight better job the Matt "Slob" would have done and the Texans would have lost by 26 instead of 6 with Schaub and you know it.

We would be average or at least a little above average, which would be a nice change. We would have won the Colts game and perhaps the Vikings game if we didn't have a QB who throws INTs into the endzone and tries making moves like he's a running back (Colts game).
 
I hate following Houston sports

my family has a history of high blood pressure, and this kind of roller coaster ride is bad for my health -_-

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's awesome. But if you think Schaub would have done better in the same situation then you are stupid.

Both our QBs suck.

What makes you say that? Schaub has shown WAY more "IT" factor late in games then Sage has ever shown. People that don't acknowledges that are 'stupid' IMO. Well actually, that would make em morons.
 
Having a minute to go with no timeouts, and having to drive 80 yards is no easy task. Even Peyton Manning would've struggled if he was in that situation.

Yes, that is true. But I never seen any QB thrown so much int/fumbles as much as Sage has in critical moments. If you look back at the game thread, pretty much every poster were expecting him to blow the game.

Even if we didn't score on that drive... If the offense had kept the ball til the clock ran out, that would be a big accomplishment on Sage part. but his game-ending INT has become a cliche for every game.

Schaub would have been just as successful early in the game with that kind of running attack going. The final drive is going to be low percentage anyway but I'd take my chances with Schaub if I could in fact make that choice.
