Texans 2012 Draft

Jones and Bullock were only picks that weren't taken out of the Big 10 or MAC.

Who is scouting the midwest for the Texans? Whoever it is they obviously have the most pull in the Texans war room. The Big 10 is lacking in talent compared to the SEC/Big 12/ACC. IMHO

Is it a good Idea to limit yourself to one area of the country and not draft anybody from more talent rich areas? Was the 2012 draft an anomaly or was it a sign of future Texans drafts?

I'd add the Pac-12 to your list of better conferences. I sure hope last year was a coincidence and not the beginning of a new trend. Surely we're scouting the SEC. Remember all the trouble the 2012 draft picks were having with the heat in summer time OTA's because they weren't acclimated.
