Compensatory Picks: Educated Guesses? - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

With the loss of the following FAs:
Mario Williams
Mike Briesel
Jason Allen
Joel Dreessen

We qualify for the maximum (4) compensatory picks. Since we didn't any FAs at the qualifying level of roughly $1.5 million/yr, I think that's right.

Mario will definitely net a 3rd.
Joel Dreessen should be at least a 6th, perhaps a 5th given his statsis.
Briesel's contract and 15 GS should net at least a 5th, perhaps a 4th.
Jason Allen will be a 6th/7th.. He played only a couple games this year.

Those of you who understand this process, is it reasonable to hope for:

an extra 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th?
