Those are for team accomplishments. I thought he meant more for like individual accomplishments like they do in high-school.

The idea of an AFC Championship patch if you were on that team, that's cool.

I do hope they keep this up & it turns into something as special as I think this year's team is.

But I don't want to see them wearing them to "every game" being that it's usually warm down here is cool in that they'll only break them out for play-off games practically.

They did not:

This jacket is just another symbol of that. There's no names on it. You just have your number, your position group and the Texans logo.

I somehow doubt that any preparation time for the next game was lost in coming up with these jackets. As an employer, having your employees building camraderie in a positive fashion is a great, great thing. These guys aren't going to taking their eye off their goals just because somebody thinks they are the next great fashion designer.

And, yes, having professionals adopt the trappings of a high school team might be dorky. But I'll take dorky over, say, having our guys terrorizing the highways at 2:00am, killing their teammates and/or innocent bystanders in the process.

Nfl will and probably is ALL over this. Well I imagine he Texans have been working on his for a while through the league office. I expect this to be the next hottest thing when the league gets all its ducks in a row through every team. Course I could be wrong

Ugh, you totally missed the point of the letter jackets.....

High school, College is at the purest of the game. You play to win, not for the millions of dollars. You play for the brother on your left and the brother on your right. That is what the jackets were about, a brotherhood, and kindred-ship among a team that wants to be know as a team that is one and on the same page of winning together...
