For a single screw, one of the possibilities I entertained initially, now immediately comes to mind...........a "Jones Fracture"........a fracture of the 5th (outside) metatarsal. Very common athletic injury.

I don't think we need to make any changes right off the bat. Signing Nolan makes sense, but he'll sit on the bench while Quin, Manning, & Demps hold down the safety spot.

We've still got enough CBs to field two starters & a nickel. Kj, Roc, Harris. The problem is if someone gets hurt.

Then you can move Quin to Corner & bring Shilo in as your joker. Or move Manning to CB & let Nolan spy.

If I were a CB this year, I wouldn't know what to think. The refs have been very lenient with the PI all year long. It looks like they are letting them play the game the way it's supposed to be played.

Then out of nowhere there's a phantom call.... nowhere near as egregious as what they've been allowing.

So if I'm a hands on guy & they let me do what I do for 3 qtrs... I mean what's a guy supposed to do?

Feb 2011, The Raiders gave him a 3 year 31 million dollar contract, but he renegotiated so the Raiders could keep him because the Raiders were having a real cap problem. In 15 games, he had 4 interceptions. The Chiefs picked him up and gave him a 20 million dollar 3 year deal this Feb. After missing his last game the end of October, he was released by the Chiefs with a hamstring injury. He had already accumulated 2 interceptions. KC's head coach was not specific in the reasons for the move other than saying the "relationship wasn't progressing as quickly and fast as I wanted it to." Sounds like some personality conflicts.

At 29, he sounds like he still has something in the tank........just ended up on the wrong teams. Could be a very interesting pickup. Remember, before Chris Johnson ran a Combine 4.24 40 (2008), Routt held the fastest run at 4.27 (2005)

I don't see why people are so quick to move Quin back to CB. He's doing better than anyone expected at Safety. Why weaken 2 positions?
