We run out of he two TE sets 84% of the time. So not having graham hurt this offense.

No, actually it isn't hard to admit. The Texans can't "act like they've been there before" because they haven't and they're going to dick around with things like this and end up looking stupid for it. That's what teams that aren't used to success do.

We've all heard about how hard it is to deal with success in the NFL. It's as hard to deal with as failure really. Being good is one thing. Being consistently good is a whole other level. The Texans aren't there yet. Probably won't get there in this particular configuration but maybe they'll learn a lesson from this and put the toys away until after the season is over.

They said they felt like they were playing on a college team again so they bought the jackets (which I still think are a neat idea). Well tonight they played like they were a college team going up against New England. Hopefully they don't forget what this feels like and hopefully they hate it as much as we do.

After all those years of drafting 2 TEs, TE depth is not a problem I'd thought we'd have.

Our sets are about same look different play and when you change that you change the O.

I'm more concerned with our LB situation to be honest. I mean, no 3-4 defense is going to be as good without their two best linebackers on the field. We won't get Cushing back but hopefully Brooks Reed returns before the playoffs. Guys like Barwin, James, Dobbins and especially the talented rookie Mercilus need to step it up if this team is going to reach the Super Bowl. Sadly enough, the Bulls on Parade defense has become the Bulls on Vacation defense.

Do I need a new username? Let's get this F'ken thing turned around. Light a fire under every player's ass. I'm not even getting paid the big bucks being an NFL player, and yet I feel I could have played with more hunger and intensity tonight than half the Texans team.

I still believe but this team needs more than Varsity Jackets and the best owner in the NFL. We need the players to respond. The offense should have scored 45 points tonight, not 14. No excuse for our offense to be sucking so much. Kubiak better change his game plan if needed.

My God: We've got two of the best running backs in the league in Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Let's play smash mouth football and start wearing teams down again. I thought we came out playing good tonight but penalties and some bad breaks cost us in that 1st quarter. Once we fell down 14-0 and then 21-0 the game was a lost cause -- our run game was useless by then.

And my man Kareem Jackson. Ugh, got to fall on top of that fumble right in front of you. Don't try to scoop it up and run. Does that ever work? We could have prevented that Patriots first Touchdown. I kind of felt the Texans needed to score first in a game like this.

We've only got two on our roster. OD & Graham. I thought using Casey at tight-end was an option, but.. we didn't put Clutts in the game. I can't remember seeing him on any snaps. We ran with no fullback all game.

We lined Andre up at fullback (pre-snap).

We didn't adjust to not having Graham. Why is Clutts on this team if we're not going to use him when we need him?

I could be totally wrong about not having Clutts out there, but I don't remember seeing him.

If we're not going to run Clutts at FB, we should have played Walter at TE & move LeStar/Martin up the depth chart.

We were down to the bottom on the depth chart. I'm not sure who they'd cut to bring in a TE that unless he played for us before or in Washington would be able to know our offense in a week.

Kubiak doesn't do stuff like that...

He waits until it's too late and wishes he has been more aggressive with his subs and playcalling.

Clutts should have been used before this game. You went out and traded for him. Hes a good lead blocker. Why you wouldn't utilize him is just kubiak being kubiak.

Well see clutts next year though...
