He's the only other guy that I know that is playing almost as hard as Watt.

Casey isn't a huge part of the game but he never lets himself get tackled, if he goes down it's because the defense earned it.

Manning is a playmaker for sure, he might give the opponent a gift now and then but he will take it away.
I think we are blessed to have the versatility and skills Quin and Manning bring to the Texans secondary. After too many years of Stevens, Earl and co to have legit players back there is AWESOME. Any chance they may get some pro bowl loving?

Sure there is room for improvement but some people's criticisms dont come across as constructive , its more a personal opinion with some. Especially those who dont like Kubiak .... Damn his team is 10-1. With a 5-0 record on the road and has wins over division leaders Denver , Baltimore and Chicago , two of those in their place. Those same people will be screaming off with his head after the next loss .... and will still feel the same way after he brings this city a Lombardi Trophy. Like I said in another thread , I havent been this excited about a football season / team since the Oilers were knocking on the door back in the Earl Campbell Dan Pastorini days .... and thats a lotta years back. Enjoy this season , as teams like this dont come around all that often.

Start trusting Schaub to throw? LOL - Schaub is on pace for 4150 yds (he was on pace for 4175 last season). That would be his 3rd 4000 yd season under Kubiak including leading the league with 4770 one year. I think Kubiak trusts Schaub to throw.

3rd and 14, Kubiak: Draw 3rd and 15, Kubiak: Draw 3rd and 16, Kubiak: Screen Kubiak is so conservative that it's gonna come and bite us in the rear. He settled for a 50 yarder when we all know Graham is FAR from automatic in that range. He couldn't trust Schaub to get 5-7 more yards? Let's be honest here, when it's 3rd and long we all know he's calling the draw no matter what the field position is. |

As to the punt, now for about the 4th or 5th time, Kubiak called a pass play (in fact the same pass play Casey caught the 2nd time) and Schaub looked at the D and audibled to a run. So let's be honest here, it is very presumptive to think what is run in a game is what was called.

Rather ... lets risk a turnover or worse because the defense knows they have to throw getting Schaub splattered on the turf and out come playoff time. Not to mention .... when it is a critical situation teams will know his tendancy to run draws and maybe play the run instead .... and they can take advantage of that. They dont show all their cards .... they have a few plays in the playbook that they only break out when they really need them (The Walter TD against the Bungles last season being a prime example) .... Why show what you dont have to giving your future opposition film to study on you. They are 10-1 .... Sure they have their warts but Gary's conservative third down playcalling is the least of our concerns. Right now , Im much more concerned with the rate at which the opposition is converting on 3rd and long as well as the number of big plays givin up in that situation.
