Lions getting a plus at special teams? I think their special teams are pretty terrible, unless I am forgetting them giving up returns in bunches. Otherwise decent break down.

I find your analysis even more generic than the crap we get off of ESPN. If that's what you're shooting for... you've hit it. Personally I would think you are looking for something that is different than what is currently out there. Something that truly shows knowledge of the game & the teams. While there is no doubt you know the game, you don't have the resources to get into the x's & o's of individual teams. At least that's the way it comes across to me. The Bears had an affective way to shut down our run game, they just couldn't maintain that level for the duration of the game. Jacksonville had some good plays against our run game, but again couldn't sustain. Find out what they did that worked, what didn't & why. Calvin Johnson is a beast, but your "game-plan" doesn't sound remotely like what we are going to do. Barwin & Reed, though they are called OLBs, pass coverage is a small part of what they do. They'll drop into coverage, but it's a rare thing & not going to be a major part of our game plan. My suggestion to you, is to pick a team. Learn that team, go beyond the generic when analyzing their game plan. When you have a true grasp on that team, you can spend more time analyzing their weekly opponents & the specific quirks they bring to the table. After 4 years, you'll have gone through every team in the NFL & learned them a lot better. Calvin Johnson will be allowed an inside release from time to time, I guarantee it, & it won't turn out the way he expects it to most of the time. Again, just trying to help.

Thanks for video Em. We will run, run, run, pass, run, run, run, pass. As long as we establish running game early, we should be OK as usual. But, its not going to be gimme. Hope, our D can create many turn overs and harass Stafford all day.

We need to get a lead. Getting a big lead early is more important than establishing a running game.
